Roleplay Lobby [new roleplayers: start here!]

I've already posted in the forum, but might as well introduce myself properly!

I'm Lark, I have years of written rp experience and it's one of my favorite hobbies. I am most used to 1x1s, but like groups as well.
For the pokemon world, my preference is to RP as a pokemon, or a ranger.
Outside of Pokemon, my interests include fantasy, adventure, knights, and creatures (e.g. werewolves, vampires). I have too many fandoms to list, but to give a broad sweep: fantasy literature (e.g. Neil Gaiman, Diane Duane, Seanan McGuire, Anne Rice), shonen/seinen anime, and xenofiction.

Welcome! Sounds like you'll fit in here just fine.

Not sure if anyone already asked this, but can a co-GM post an IC thread with the GM's permission? Or does it have to be done by the GM him/her/themself?
I assume you mean post like, story posts or functional GM things, right? If that's the case, absolutely! Your players should be aware if there are multiple GMs and treat you both according to the role you perform, no matter who "owns" the thread. :)

*BUMP*

I haven't RP'd in FOREVER. I'd love to come back!

I GMed a Super Smash Bros RP years ago. Looking back at it I want to bring it back, but I'd like to adjust a couple of things, if that makes sense.

I also have an idea about a Pokemon Academy-type RP that I'd also love to do. Back in my old days there was an RP called "The Pokemon Trainer Academy" that launched my RP phase. I was named RP rookie of the year one time

I'm new to the whole idea of forums in general, but I saw the Roleplay spots, so I figured "what the heck, why not" and put something there. Was I supposed to say something here first...?

Hi, welcome, and yes! Our section settings shouldn't have actually allowed you to post a thread in Stage before posting something in here. Don't know why that setting was messed up, but not your fault! I'll move your thread into this area, which is the appropriate place to gather interest before kicking things off :) I'm also gonna point you to the stickied thread for starting out in this area (click here) - most sections have a similar guideline thread at the top of everything, 'cause there are specific guidelines for different areas and topics! For our own organization, I'll move this topic into that thread as well.

I'm happy to see someone new to forums trying stuff out! They're a pretty different experience to the usual social media landscape, so if you need any pointers or are confused, feel free to reach out :D
