My rom won't open in visual boy anymore. I think I messed with unlz too much, is there any way I can undo what I've done and restore the default title screen on a fire red rom? First it was just going to white screen when I booted the game. I messed with unlz some more trying to fix it myself, now it's not even opening instead saying "Error reading image" when I try and boot the rom.

With unLZ I just tried to put a .png I found on google on the title screen, probably where I went wrong. Can anyone tell me how to fix my game or what exactly I did wrong? Any suggestions appreciated

Try undoing manually the last parts you edited.
Pick a clean Fire Red ROM, and compare the areas of the last parts you have edited.
There's a thread somewhere that helps how to recover screwed up ROMs.
Also, man, always backup!
