Graphics: ROM Hacking Sprites Pack: Overworlds, Trainer Sprites, Tilesets and more!

During the creation of our ROM hack, Aesthetic Red, we compiled a complete range of ROM hacking resources. We've released these as a series of "Packs" to help other people prepare for making their own ROM hacks! These packs are available as folders on our Google Drive, so that you can download individual files or the complete folder.

This is our GBA Sprites Pack, which goes nicely alongside our GBA Tools Pack, GBA Patches Pack and GBA Music Pack.
A lot of the contents have been moved over to our GBA Patches Pack, which contains far more resources and takes priority over this one, so be sure to look at that too!

The GBA Sprites Pack includes a large range of graphics prepared by ourselves, all with palettes and tilemaps included, ready to be inserted into your ROM. (These are prepared for Binary Fire Red, but a lot of them will also work with Emerald and Decomp.)

It works on a clean Fire Red v1.0 ROM. You can check which offsets are used with IPS Peek to see if it overwrites any modified data

And yes ofc u can modify them! They can all be inserted easily using HMA, just make sure they use no more than 16 colours. Also we'd personally recommend removing the animation graphics (such as the grass) completely by making them transparent. This is best because most of the maps use the same stripes and they look bad against some of the backgrounds
