Name: Rine Argent
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Pokemon's DNA you have: Sneasel
Personality: Though a loner by nature, Rine is also rather efficient in life as in battle. That is, he is willing to make certain compromises if they seem logical or beneficial. However, there are certain compromises he refuses to make--ones that move against his code of honor. If driven to battle, Rine is skilled and merciless--deeming it to be a waste of energy to repeatedly spare an opponent and thereby receive their attacks.
Despite his customary efficiency, though, Rine may--at times--reveal a certain sadistic or sadomasochistic edge.
Description: Dark hair, crimson eyes, gold gem on his forehead, Sneasel's ears, gold gem at the center of his collar-bone; a bandage is tied about his head and covers one eye
History: Before Rine met Team Cipher, he lived a relatively normal life. Though his family was often lacking in finances, they were a loving one. While wandering the city's streets as he often did, Rine met a young girl. Her parents having died, she lived alone on the streets. Rine pleaded with his parents to adopt her. However, knowing that they could not provide a proper home for the girl, they instead brought her to an orphanage in the hopes that she could live happily elsewhere. During this time, she was confined to the orphanage grounds, but often escaped to meet Rine. Unfortunately, on one such occasion, Cipher kidnapped her and brought her to their headquarters. From a nearby alley, Rine witnessed the event and pursued them in the vain hope of rescuing the girl. But, as might be expected, he was taken as a prisoner in his rescue attempt. Though both were transformed into morphs, they were then separated. Recently, Rine was able to slip into a Cipher office and locate several records. According to them, the female had died several years ago under the harsh training. And, Rine's family had been "disposed of" when they grew too close to finding him. Torn by guilt and grief, Rine determined to escape Cipher and destroy them by whatever means possible.
Other: Though Rine dislikes Team Cipher, they have undeniably affected his manner of operation and view of life. His merciless style of fighting is largely due to his infusion of Sneasel DNA as well as his training under Cipher.
If in a particularly difficult battle, Rine may remove the bandage about his head.
RP sample: Rine dropped into a crouch as a set of dangerously sharp claws lashed out above him. Leaping back, the morph landed in a kneel, his scarlet eyes narrowing. Before him, a large Persian arched its back and hissed furiously. Baring its fangs, the feline leaped at Rine, its claws extended for another attack. The Sneasel morph swiftly dodged to the side before springing away.
Masking the growl that threatened to enter his voice, Rine quietly said, "Calm down . . . "
The Persian hissed and prepared to attack.
Moving into a defensive stance, Rine quietly studied his opponent. I doubt I'll ever understand the volatile nature of Persian. Even when I agreed to leave "its" lake . . . His eyes glinted with a crimson light. It had its chance.
Growling, Persian started toward Rine at a smooth run. Then, it sprang directly at the morph--its claws aimed toward his throat. Claw met claw as white claws flashed from Rine's hands. Its attack having been deflected, the Persian was slightly thrown back. However, as it twisted its lithe body and prepared to land with its usual cat-like grace, it suddenly found a Sneasel's claws slash across its forelegs as the dark morph shot past it. Though it landed with its paws beneath it, pain coursed through its front legs. Further infuriated, the Persian turned toward Rine to prepare another attack. However, even as it turned, sharp claws tore across its face. Not pausing to flinch, the Persian swiftly turned toward its opponent and once more leaped toward it.
The Sneasel morph turned to one side to avoid the attack, extending one hand and catching the Persian by its neck. Pressing his claws deep into the neck's soft flesh, Rine's eyes shone with a dark battle light. Then, suddenly he cast the Persian onto the ground. As the feline struggled to stand, it was swiftly encased in ice.
Shards of freezing mingled with the wintery air that swirled about Rine's clawed hand. Slowly the cold faded as the battle light drifted away from Rine's eyes. Licking blood from his once-white claws, the Sneasel morph stared mercilessly down at his frozen opponent.
