Samurai X vs. Rurouni Kenshin

    Which Anime do you prefer more out of these two, seemingly indiffrent works of art?

    I like Samurai X the best; its animation flow, detailed drawings, and cooler fights, plus the fact that you get to see Kenshin when he was young, and older, and even older then that! It may only be 6 episodes, but each one is like 30-50 minutes long...not really much else to say other then I like it.

    NOTE: For those who do not know, Samurai X was the original title of Rurouni Kenshin. I believe, that the series was only meant to be the OAV that Samurai X is (The 6 episodes), and that Rurouni Kenshin is just filler for that. At least, that is what I remember.
     
    nope...ruroni kenshin came out first then the samurai x ova came out that's how it was in japan and the movies "Fate" "Trial" Destiany" "Prayer" "Peace" cover what was never animated in the main anime from the manga
     
    Er... again, Blue, how about expanding on your posts instead of just pointing out things in other posts? =\ For example, you could also tell about your favourite parts, or actually discuss what this topic is about (comparing both series).

    ._. I've only seen one of the Samurai X DVDs and a movie, or something. ^_^; They don't play the anime on Canadian TV and our rental outlets aren't stocked with much.
     
    ya but i was just saying the order it was posted in...

    Anyways the "trial" and "prayer" movies were good they had some of the best fight in the whole thing and it really sucks








    that kenshin has to kill a 15 year old boy who was mad at him for the death of his family.....


    But the last fight in "peace" was greaet and i love the end where kenshin....woops wont spoil that part!
    to bad there's no chance of them being brought over...but the streange thing is they were done by GONZO...now that's odd....

    and if anyone has seen "prayer"...wow kenshin really






    did kill the boy's villiage out of spit for the lord of it...man that's some good stuff and to know that kenshin WAS part of the very army he was trying to stop all this time brought up more questions that'll never really be anwsered...how did sanoske and ujibo know each other?
    And why did kenshin say that yahiko was the "hero of japan"? All i got was that jikiro and kenshin were step-brother and that jikiro was yahiko's REAL father...and kenshin





    Had to kill him that really suck's! Still at the end of "peace" with that really strange fortelling of kenshin and yahiko's past and how yahiko had to **LL kenshin...wow that had a great ending and kenshin took his death with honor same like kaoru did.
     
    I honestly think Samurai Jack is the best!

    Gahhh!! Who threw that? Hehe...

    I haven't watched, nor herad of Samurai X, so i have no idea what it's about.
     
    Samurai X was what the ova's were titled in america they are just more or less the same thing but in diffrent orders

    and the

    "Fate" "Trial" Destiany" "Prayer" "Peace" ova's were relseased in japan only under this title
