while the game is saving, you turn the ds off. and says the save file was corrupt. then you load your game. if you keep doing this, could you actually lose your game? is it best to wait at the last point of its saving waiting...

No you cannot eventually loose your save because the game uses the back-up save stored on the cartridge, also you can not loose your save when the eternal battery runs dry because there is no eternal battery because the time is run by the clock on your DS system!

So to get to the point switching of your DS alot when the game saves is because of the back-up save!

Are you implying that you're too impatient to wait for the game to save before you turn it off? O_o

As far as I know, no you can't lose your save file. The game keeps a backup of your last save and will start from there if the save data got corrupted.

lol, i was just wondering. thanks for that!

The game always keeps your last full save stored, and if any saving process gets corrupted for whatever reason, it is discarded and the stored save file is recalled instead.

I was actually wondering this too.. as I was/am reluctant to clone again and again in case my file gets deleted or something

This thread has no point, really.
