Although it's not all too surprising, I've noticed just how many people share the same name as me <.< Do you know anyone who has the same name as you? And just how many can you count? For those of you with a unique name, do you appreciate being one of the few/only people with your name or do you loath its uniqueness? Feel free to pitch in whatever else you want to add (including your name if you'd like) :3 This topic is the name game <3

And for a name count... there are two other PC users at the very least with the same name as me and I've known plenty of other people with my same name of variations. Too many to count and both males and females. I do believe that I have one of the most popular names though :x

Very few people, actually. It wasn't until college that I had someone who shared my name in the same class. Of course, I have one of those names that's much more common as a middle name than as a first name, which makes sense because my name is my dad's first and middle name reversed. I don't see the logic in doing that. But honestly I hated my name much more as a kid. I don't mind it too much now, though I still occasionally get asked if it's short for something else, which it's not.

Looking back to as far as I can remember I can only recall only a few other people who share the name Ryan.
For the most part, it was never a problem though. It's a fairly uncommon name.

Many people share my name (Matt), and many people have another name that sounds like mine when said fast... (Max, Mack, Nat, and Prat)

It can get confusing fast at times. But if it gets too bad, we just use nicknames. It's kinda fun being called "GIR" in real life. :V

I know no one in the whole world who has the same name as I do irl, there's maybe two or three other people in the WORLD. I used to hate my name, because I got picked on for it a LOT. It was probably one of the main reasons I was being bullied etc insert sad story here. As for online, there's a few people with 'Yoshi' in their name (Yoshi-san or whatever for example), but I don't see them around a lot. It doesn't really bother me.

A lot of people share the same name as me, 3 people in the same school as me in fact, but I've noticed that unless they were born before 2000, no one has the same name as me. I'm not sure if this applies anywhere else, but in Texas, no one is named with traditional names anymore, now it's more like angel (boy's name) or trace/tray/trae/traelin.

My name is pretty unique. I don't know anyone else who shares my name and I doubt I ever will.

lol my name is Ryan, I have known at least 10 other people called Ryan; and that's just a random guess, it's actually more than that.

My name is Mallory and I've met two other people with the same name. One of them is like some long distance cousin on my dad's side who my parents didn't even know existed until after I was born and then I once had a waitress at a restaurant named Mallory looool.

I do like my name and being the only Mallory usually is nice because it's like you stand out I guess. "EVERYONE KNOWS MALLORY" Omg ahaha the worst part of having a somewhat uncommon name is when I meet foreign people or have foreign substitute teachers. They usually can't pronounce my name at all and will either let out a horrible attempt at it or will just simply stare blankly at me when I tell it to them or at the sheet they're reading it off of.

In my class group, there are two Víctors. We are known by our surnames, and sometimes referred to as the DoubleV team XD

There has always been at least one guy with my name in my any of my classes, as far as I can remember.

    Mr Cat Dog.

IRL, I was always the "second" Jonathan, when I was much much much younger (like preschool) and I hated it so much. They made me feel so unimportant. :(

Oooh! Another Jonathan on PC! And here's me thinking I was the only one.

In real life, there's been at least one Jonathan following me around every year of academics. There was another one in primary school, a whole bunch of them in secondary school, and I ended up living with one at university. It's not the most common name in the world, although I'm always slightly surprised when I hear a 'Jonathan' on TV or something, as it happens just often enough for my ears to prick up, but not enough for it to be commonplace.

I've never seen anyone on PC or heard of someone IRL with the same name as mine.
My name being Shaih, of course, but I assumed there wouldn't. Since, it's a rare-ish name.

My name is David. I know at least three other David's and the amount of people I know that's saying something. There is even a football player with the same first and last name as me. It was so incredibly annoying when I was younger and I was compared to him.

As for online I've yet to see anyone else use Hybrid Trainer. I've seen a lot of other Hybrids but I'm the only trainer.

Do you know anyone who has the same name as you?
If you count Queen Latifah (even though that is not her real name).....I have never met anyone with my name because my name is very unique

And just how many can you count?
    Zero; none

For those of you with a unique name, do you appreciate being one of the few/only people with your name or do you loath its uniqueness?
I love having my name so much because no one has it. No one can confuse me with a different "Latifah" that can turn out to be a jerk, gross, a loser etc. I hope I never met a Latifah in person or see someone on television with my name

My name is Nichole, which is an unusual spelling of a common name.

I have seen some other Nicoles, but not with my spelling.

In fact, my mother nearly named me Chloe but my current name does contain an anagram of Chloe.

My name is pretty uncommon, and I like it like that. I've only met like one or two people that had the same name or a variation. One time when I was about 2 my mom lost me at the playground, and she was calling my name, she met another mother who was also looking for her son with the same name (Leander). The other time was when I met a girl named Leandra.

My name's Janna; doubt any of you ever knew anyone with that name lol. I personally like having a rarer name since running into someone with the same name always seemed a bit awkward to me. I've ran into a few people with my name when I was still living in Europe but when I moved to the US I haven't seen a single one. People mispronounce it as Yanna or Jenna a lot. ]:

My name is Samantha. There are plenty of people with my name. To put it in perspective, when I first got my job, there was also another Samantha. There were maybe 10 people working there at most... The worst is when someone goes Sam! in a crowd and I turn and it's for someone else. (It doesn't help that Sam is also short for Samuel so I'm hitting both guys and girls with that one.)

Oddly, though, I don't know of anyone on PC with my name yet. There have to be several, just haven't met them yet or I don't remember that it's their name. *shrugs*
