If you have a Zapdos, it will be good have a spinner aswell.... Gyarados will be a mess after a DD, so you could try with a Starmie or a Forretress with Gyro Ball (the fisrt works better in this case IMO)

Yay, i like this, ive been running SD Kingler as of late, but this works better for you as its your lead.

Consider Sludge Bomb >> Grass Knot, it helps as a good STAB neutral attack for Mence and other stuff especially on things that seem to want to come in to abuse resistances to your attacks. Ive actually been using HP Ground tbh as of late on this, Heatran seems to switch in once too often for my liking. Energy Ball is better IMO on this >> Grass Knot, if its a late game move you want Energy Ball is much more reliable and you will hit heavy stuff just as hard with specs, aswell as light stuff.

I think on Clefable, the best thing to do is take about 100 evs from defense and put them in sp.att, you can play with how much though

Cool, but consider Fire Punch for Heracross and Breloom, SS, doesnt break its subs or particularly phaze Hera..

    Comments and suggestions in bold.

I really like this. Just be careful of T-Tar, i think Kingler may be able to survive a couple of switch ins, thanks to its base 115 def, but i know for definite it wont like taking CB or DD assaults. Just something to take note of.

I actually had Sludge Bomb on their originally, but just took it off for Leaf Storm. I'm iffy on it's move set still.

Doi. Fire Punch will definitely go over Earthquake. I was having problems with Magnezone, so I threw in Earthquake over Thunderpunch. However, Fire Punch covers all of them.

I'll try out that EV Spread on Clefable as well.

    Scarf-Kingler is awesome. :3

    - Grass Knot/Weather Ball/Energy Ball/Sludge Bomb
    - Hidden Power [Fire]/Ground
    - Shadow Ball
    - Leaf Storm

Top choice is just...there. Weather Ball will give you a high-power equivalent of HP Rock, Fire, Water, or Ice, so it's versatile, depending on the weather, since it's rather common in OU.. Sludge Bomb, like Azelf said, is a strong STAB vs. Mence. E.Ball obviously for standard STAB when things are withered down.

Cool; I'm liking that Grass Knot. You can also try to fit quake in there, just in case Magnezone comes out or something.

I've seen one of these in action. Immune to Toxic/Burn, residual damage, they're not easy to defeat. Good choice.

Watch out for Heracross; simply said unless you have Fire Punch.

Stallin Zappy; Never saw one before in action. I'm guessing since it gives support, Metal Sound wasn't an option. That would help deal with bulky walls.

Could use some help on Clefable's EV Spread. This team was just a conglomerate of Pokemon from experimentation and it's been rather successful.

[Sorry Anti for the title. I'm bored.]

Suggestions in bold. I also like how you're challenging Anti's Stall team. This vs. that would be an awesome battle log IMO.

You can sorta use T-Tar to a slight advantage with Roserade and Weather Ball, or any weather to that matter. However, residual damage hits everything but Metagross. I'm not good at noting off instant threats (I leave that to Azelf and Anti. lol), so they'll let you know. I can say this; Beware powerful Specs users unless Zappy takes them fine.

This team went 51-9 today. Now that I've tested it, I can breed it and battle with it. Any other suggestions?

Aragorn used one of these against me once, except he had HP [Ice] and it swept my team. Of course he had to switch out a couple of times due to the scarf, but he still killed me. So yeah, this thing rocks.

I actually used one of these in a battle with Loto, and it survives a Rock Slide from a (I'm Guessing) Brave Marowak with a Bone Club (or w/e it's called).

Comments in Bold. Good job on the team.

I would put Earthquake / Hidden Power [Ground] on Metagross, but I have no idea what to replace.

I'm also not liking the fact that Dusknoir is easily walled by Tyranitar (all I can do is burn it but with the massive amounts of Substitute-using Tyranitar, I never seem to be able to burn it.)

    Well, here are my suggestions:

    Earthquake >> Explosion on Metagross

Reason: It's already got a Quiet Nature, and this is no Agiligross, so I really don't think you have the speed to pull one of these off. Of course, then again, I've seen many Lickylickys blow up in my face...

With Dusknoir, I could only suggest getting rid of Fire Punch for Brick Break. Although it leaves you open for Heracross sweepage, it gets rid of your TTar weakness. Unless of course you plan on switching Kingler out every time you see a TTar.

    clefable bold@lefties
    magic guard
evs-252 hp/ def 4 sp atk or your set will do just fine
    wish
    cosmic power
    charge beam
    ice beam

mine has this set and im pretty sure this is legal

I knew there was something I forgot to mention :P

Actually, silver is right, Softboiled is a 3rd gen exclusive tutor move, and Magic Guard is a 4th gen exclusive ability. I don't know why Smogon even has them listed together, and I don't know if they work on shoddy or not, but they're unobtainable together by breeding.

i started to try to "get" a soft boiled one but it didnt add up and wouldnt be fair so i stuck with the one i mentioned

let me see if i can find a counter or possible pokemon you can get to help your walls or maybe something bulky that could actually use the wish support from clefable

Nope, its not illegal, you have to teach the tutor move to Clefairy in third gen and pal park it over, now you have a 50-50 chance that you will get Magic Guard as the ability when it evolves. If it doesnt get Magic Guard, you have to breed all over again and repeat the process and hope you get the ability when it evolves. You cant Soft Reset for it either, so once your stuck with a crappy ability, it will always be that, no matter how many times you SR before you evolve it.

Good luck with that Blueberry =0, id have a look on Smogon, ive seen some Clefairy there like that. I

Yes, it is legal. I have one already. I still don't know what to do with Dusknoir.

I say this; EQ > Explosion on Metagross. Not only does it give you ground coverage (more than Roserade's HP), it deals with Magnezone, which you have to predict right, or you're gonna lose that Meta. In that case, HP Fire is an option, and Grass Knot could be added (I think that's possible.) That'll help deal with T-Tar, although EQs from Tar don't feel nice.

Hera is still a problem. You COULD go Psychic on Metagross, but you wouldn't be a counter, but at least coverage. I really don't see too much of an effective counter here (or even putting moves to suggest one)

If I pull in Zapdos on anything but Stone Edge, it can usually handle Heracross. I really wish Metagross had six move slots. I need to pick between:

    Meteor Mash [Not Losing]
    Hidden Power [Fire]
    Earthquake
    Shadow Ball
    Grass Knot
    Explosion

    What's a girl to do?

lol you pick Metal Claw, Confusion, HP Poison, and Take Down on Metagross. THAT'S THE STANDARD! ^^

But seriously, Meteor Mash is a must. Also, Shadow Ball won't be doing too much more than the Mash, even if super effective. (160 > 150, which is small BP difference). HP Fire will deal with Forretress that would just sit here and wall you otherwise. Grass Knot obviously for bulky waters that might give you a lot of trouble. Quake is more acceptable since you'll be a lil too slow in pulling off the Explosion, plus, it gives you more coverage.

You ABYAY, that's what I had back in the day. I loved it. But it's been about a month or so, so I forgot about it. I'll definitely go back to that.
