hey do i get a second chance for tyranitar and metagross, or should i use masterball, or should i just catch them now?

cuz i dont knwo what to do, and is it true that to get ho ho u have to beat the battle mode battle moutnain....and not the mt battle in story mode, cuz im at 91 in story, and i heard u onlyy get a time flute for it... in story mode
