So, I'm creating my first set.
And, as I progress, I was hoping that
you guys could help me with some advices.
(I hope this thread can exsist only for that)

    so, here's my first question:

Dark Muk (TRR) has that expression: "after applying effects to the Retreat Cost".
    what would be the opposite?
"without applying effects to the R.C."
    or
"don't apply effects to the R.C."
    any other suggestion?

you think that if the attack says:
"Does 10 damage times the number of [C] Energy in the D.P's Retreat Cost"
and HPS is in play, then only the usual R.C. would be applied, no matter HPS?

    others agree?

I guess you are talking about Dark Muk's attack Slimy Water:

Does 10 damage times the number of [C] Energy in the Defedning Pokémon's Retreat Cost (after applying effects to it)

If you want to negate the "after blah, blah..." stuff, you just erase it or, in cases like Dark Muk, if a Poké-Body increases the DP's RC after following some requirements or High Pressure System is on field, you might as well add the "Without applying effects to the RC." between no parenthesis!!!

I hope I made myself clear...

PS: Not to make anyone made, but HPS is no longer Modified-ON, so...

    actually, HPS is still modified-on:
    1. because it was reprinted in POP 3 which is perfectly legal
    2. if you live in Croatia where everything's legal

i think i'll put "without applying...".
    just to be sure.

    Q2:
I want to move cards attached to Pokémon back to my hand.
And then do damage per card moved this way.

how to put it in Poke-language?

You may return any number of grass Energy cards attached to Meganium to your hand. For each Energy card returned this way, put 1 damage counters on the Defending Pokémon.

    OR

avoid return (although Super Scoop Up mentions "return") and use "move".

    OR

    use "discard to your hand..."
is that possible? or, is "discard" automaticly related to discard pile?

You may return any number of [G] Energy cards attached to Meganium to your hand. For each Energy card returned this way, put 1 damage counter on the Defending Pokémon.

That's hitting the nail on the head. That's exactly how Nintendo would phrase it.

    great, thanx.

i've decided to announce the name of the set.
    It's MASTER: ORIGINS

the reason why I did that is because now there's no turning back.
there's a lot of stuff to do with this set, and I was planning to finish it by
    late July\ early August.

I'm still having some dilemmas about the set. (such as 60 or 90 cards per set.)

and btw- I still haven't made any card, so there's a lot of work to do.

yeah, maybe 90 is too much.
    i usually avoid double posting,
but this one was 4 days away from each other
and the posts had nothing to do with each other- so I couldn't edit the first one.
but, i'll avoid it in the future.

    Q3:
I want that attack could put damage counters until the Defending Pokémon has the same amount of damage counters on it as the Pokémon which is attacking.

    how does this sound:
You can't use this attack if Magmar ex has more damage counters than the Defending Pokémon. Put damage counters on the Defending Pokémon until Magmar ex and the Defending Pokémon have the same amount (or number?) of damage counters.

    Q4:
    is it:
    Surprise From Bellow
    or
    Surprise from Bellow

i'm close to finish spoilers for my set,
so please- answer this few questions I have left.
i have 14 Pokémon left (out of 48)

Seems a bit overpowered, since a lot of EX Pokemon have high HP, that Magmar can just soak up a lot of hits then use the move/power to clear everything out.

Anyway, it's below, not bellow. Stick with lower case. (from not From)

oh, thanx for that. I'm not that good in english. :embarrass

and- the first attack is not from an ex. i've just placed "magmar ex" as example.
that pokémon will have 80 HP, so I hope it's not overpowered (max. 70 damage)

what do you think about text for first attack?
    is it good?
    it sounds a bit weird.
can I use: "you can't use this attack if..."?
