Trait: Chlorophyll
EVs: 60 HP / 100 Def / 12 Spd / 212 SAtk / 124 SDef
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Sunny Day
- Solar Beam
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Synthesis
Sunnybeaming Shiftry, sorta his standard, but I put Synthesis in because with the extra Speed from Sunny Day he could make use of it.

Trait: Early Bird
EVs: 60 HP / 252 Atk / 20 Def / 104 Spd / 72 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Explosion
- Shadow Ball
- Brick Break
Just a little something different, Swords Dance to get some Attacking power, then try to sweep, Explode when you are about to die.
I think he is to weak defensively to pull this set off though.

EVs: 124 HP / 192 Def / 192 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Rest
- Toxic
- Protect
- Substitute
Hehehe... Toxic, then stall with Protect and Sub, then Rest, enjoy waking up after 1 turn because of Early Bird and repeat.
People will not see this coming and will most likely not send a Steel in against him until it's to late, as they will have expected only Sunnybeaming from Shiftry.
I can make some more if you want, he has a pretty good movepool.

Lion Heart, dude... Not every Pokemon is good at Protect/Toxic... And Shifty can also Leech Seed, so it needs that or it just fails.

I know not every pokemon can do it, but Shiftry can, they only need to have a decent amount of Speed to get up Sub first.
You could try it with Leech Seed > Toxic, I like Toxic because you have lefties recovering you anyway.

Its all good until they keep attacking and breaking your sub... Or Skarm comes out and shuffles up your team O.O!

That's why you use Protect + Sub.
It gets you 2 free turns sorta thing.
With Leech Seed though, you'd really only need Sub, and could replace Protect with something else....
Sub/Leech Seed/Protect/Toxic for total annoyment, stopped in it's tracks by Grass/Poisons though (Venusaur, Vileplume, Victreebel, etc..)
