i was wonder:

if im breeding my charizard for charmander and want shinys will it work...
ALSO:
If i breed my Shiny Charizard for charmanders will it put a dent in the Odds of getting a shiny!

The parents do not affect the odds of the baby being shiny

The chances will stay the same, no matter if the parents are shiny or not.

I guess that also proved me wrong.

I thought shiny parents transfer the shiny trait to the baby making it 50% of being shiny.

Nope, if that was the case shinys would hold far less value.
