Shiny Encounters

I heard that, whatever the chance is of encountering a shiny, once you encounter one, depending on then game (emerald, firered, whatever) its a 30 to 50% better chance of encountering one the next time. Ex.

say the chance of encountering a shiny is 1 in 3000. the next time, it is one in 1500 and so on.

Is this true?

Not at all. I don't know the exact number, but its always 1 to 8thousand-something.

1 in 8192. I thinks the shiny aspect is activated by certain IV's. I know was in the Metal games.

1/8192 no more no less its all luck chances can be increased however through chainng.

If you have Diamond or Pearl its Possible to chain with pokeradar to get a much better chance of finding a shiny.

Try searching for a chaining topic. I dont have either game but I read through one of the topics about how to do it. There several people here that have cought more than a fairshare of shinies
