3rd Gen Shiny failure

PLaying Leaf Gree right now.... came across a Shiny Geodude... Got ... NO pokeballs...... I quit.... -cries-

Okay... And? Is that it? <~ You'll have many other occasions to catch a Shiny Pokemon.

I have been playing Pokemon since RBY, and only seen 2 shiny pokemon ever, until now. The Red Gyarados in GSC, and a Shiny Zigzagoon, that died in one hit.. while I had no pokeballs.. I swear thats the ONLY time I find them.

It's unfortunate you lost your shiny, but it's hardly something big enough to create a thread about.
