4th Gen shiny hatching

if you save right before you hatch an egg then when it does its not shiny can you soft reset to have a chance of getting a shiny

I was trying to get a shiny happiny, but it was taking way to long to hatch the egg, so I gave up. Virtual Headache is right. If you actually tried your way and it works, then you can say that and I can try it out.

If your looking for a shiny through eggs, try having a flame body ability pokemon with you, and just keep hatching eggs until you get a shiny. In my FR, I currently have 1 full box of unshiny charmanders, so be prepared.

remember my favourite quote of how the odds of getting a shiny through hatching is 1/8192. i wana find out if this drops if you breed two shiny pokemon together. unfortuantly the bulk of shinies out there are hacked or dodgy trade etc.
