I believe so, since Shoddy does fall under "Other Games". I may be wrong though.

I don't like shoddy half as much as the real game, but unfortunately I am limited to only using shoddy right now. (If I want to play pokemon that is.)

Shoddy is the easier way to make strategies and get pro

Yeah I'd say that is true. Plus shoddy doesn't have doubles so your can't completely become pro.
