6th Gen Should I give up on this one? :'(

So, I really wanted the Mesprit I encountered to be shiny,
so I began to SR. But it's really taking long :( and I also
want to do other stuff in the game, shall I give up or keep
SRing? I already did a lot and I'm afraid that if I give up
I might miss the chance of encountering it as a shiny.
You know, I leave the location and it could be shiny this time,
but I can't know that hence I left.

Now I don't really know, shall I stop, or no? :/
