Hi everyone, I recently started a new pokemon diamond adventure, and I am working on planning out my future team.

So far I am planning to have:
    Torterra
    Typhlosion
Gyarados (if anyone has a shiny magikarp, please pm me!)
    Kabutops

I ONLY WANT 5 POKEMON ON MY TEAM because i want to have room to carry a HM slave with me, so heres the problem.

Should I put a Heracross, or a Mamoswine on my team? Any advice is welcome, thanks!

Heracross would be good against Psychic pokemon because he's a bug type. I think... Get some more opinions, I'm not exactly an expert yet.

Well I am lol, I've played since it started, anyway it depends on whether your going to train them or not because Heracross is faster but has lower def/attack although if your not going to train them up just have say a level 29 Heracross/Mamoswine then I would go with Heracross because it's easier to get and there awesome but if your going to train it up Mamoswine because if I'm not mistake his defense is huge and his type is a good advantage aswell.

mamoswine can be very flexible depending on the moveset.

Mamoswine is awesome, It will have a good type advantage. It's really what u like more.

I would say personally Mamoswine it has really good stats and a decent movepool but so dose hearcross so both good choices but heracross is hard to catch lol
