4th Gen Should the Sevii Islands appear Seven years later?

    Saw someone post something about the Sevii Islands in here, and thought about something;

    If when Nintendo made Firered and Leafgreen and added seven brand new areas to explore, why don't they make it that in HeartGold and SoulSilver, you can go back to the Sevii Islands, seven years later! That would be so cool! Celio would probably by asking for the Hero (Or Heroine's) help trying to connect the PC network to Sinnoh, or something.
     
    1. They games are out and they are not in.
    2. HGSS takes place 3 years after FR/LG
    3. That late into the game would be crazy for trading.
     
    1: I know that the games are out.
    2: What do you mean 3 years? I could sworn that the original GS took place 7 years after RBY.
    3: They could have put them in while the Hero was going to Kanto.

    I'm not trying to complain that they are not there, I'm just saying it would have been cool to see them 7(or 3 apparently) years later.
     
    Its always been 3 years after. I have no idea where you got seven from. Even Kanto is a bit late for cross game trading seeing how the GTS is in goldenrod.
     
    It's definitely three years; various in-game text and NPCs in the original G/S/C state so. Go back and look, or read up information on the 'net if you're still not sure.

    But yes, I do agree that it would have been nice if they were in the game, but I don't really care that they're not. They were only included to flesh out the storyline of FR/LG and to include some of the Johto Pokémon, anyway.
     
    This thread is a good idea, but it's too late and serves no point because HG/SS are out and they won't do a new change now, so heh =P

    Seeing a thread already exists, going to close. As a beside, they're probably not in because this is a GSC remake after all, and given the fact there's two regions already (including a non-downsized Kanto!), there's no real need. Particularly if trading is allowed as early as it is. Might have been neat, but... well, check that other thread.
