    I know this is quite a coincidence that I'm posting this at the same time as everyone leaving, but that's just how things happen. I'm not leaving, but I am on the verge of leaving and/or asking to be demodded because of this.

    First of I have to state: Stupid people or people with no common sense annoy me very much (which is why I hate my schoolmates with a passion). Now in Emulation/Patches (you may or may not go there, but I mod there as well as Pika2 and Satoshi-kun is there quite often) there are tons of people who don't look at sticky threads or read the rules. Stupid people come in asking the same things over and over again.
    "Where do you get *such and such* ROMs?"
    "Where do you get this patch?"
    "How do you do this?"
    "I have this great idea for a hack. *blabs on for a paragraph or two* But first I have a *small* question: how do you hack?"
    People seriously need to read the rules, and if they looked in the stickied threads they'd see the locations of everything they're asking for. More then 1/2 of all my mod actions are in Emulator/Patches because of all these unintelligent people.

    Then in FireRed/LeafGreen discussion every keeps making duplicate topics about the Wireless Adaptor or Deoxys or something thinking they are gods bringing us this news, when they know less about the things then other people and right under their topic there is another topic with quadruple the information they posted. Also the common sense lacking ones who make individual topics for extremly Simple Questions, when voila, at the top of the forum there is a thread that's named "Simple Questions."

    Other Games is a lot better with not as many simpletons, but still people are sometimes illiterate and put Pokemon topics there when it clearly says in the forum description:
    For non-Pok?mon games discussion, talk about other games from any console, new or old.
    People also put topics for games in Other Chat a lot as well, which I'm sure gets repetitive for Kayleigh and the other mods who move them.

    In FireRed/LeafGreen and Emulator/Patches discussion, I'm going to start closing topics without explanation because it gets very old typing the same "No ROMs on PC," "Please use the appropriate stickied thread," "This is in the wrong froum," and "There is already a thread on this please use it." This amy seem rude, but it is also quite rude to us mods (or to me at least, I can't speak for all mods) when members blatantly disobey the rules.

    Now this thread may get flamed, ignored, or locked and I don't really care. I just had to say this out in the open. And I know this thread will most likely die with only 1 or 2 replies (from either Abby, Liz, Andy, or Satoshi-kun, the very fw people on PC who don't ignore me). And I'm about to rant on about this blasted gender changing dares, but that will be at a later date. Remember I am not leaving, but I amy if my nerves are worked on some more by idiots here. If you say anything along the lines of "Please don't leave !!!11!1," I will immediately put you on my Ignore list on PC and all IM clients.

    because it's the games forum, where it's one of the things that attract new comers to PC. And new comers don't really read and they start to post. That can't be helped, and that's what mods are for. For Ruby/Sapphire this is starting to be easier to handle if you got normal members helping you to inform the new members of the way how things run. It happens just as often, but now the load got shared between members and moderators alike. I mean there is still 5 cheat code request thread floating around even though there is a sticky one up there... but it's easier to handle that way if you can gather up the forum to help you mod.

    Err... if I have time (which is not the case along with stuff, and catching up on fanfic reading and accompanying people whom I failed to spend much time with lately ;_; ), I'll poke in there once in awhile and see... and at least you do have Pika2 to help you... ._.;

    Yeah, I always see that stuff happen, and it's usually new people, with only a few posts, or spammers. But, if you didn't want to do the work, you shouldn't have accepted the moderating job. I'm sure you knew what happened in those forums.

    Man, I joined this place at the wrong time...

    I'd hate to see another one go. So at worst I'd rather see you demodded and hope that you stay. (Now that I think about "I'd rather see you demodded" seems rather rude. Any negativity that may've been expressed in that IS unintentional.)

    You guys do a great a job and I'm sure that any stress we cause you in very much unintentional.

    exactly... moderators are meant to suffer, not to enjoy a perfectly self-governing forum... I mean that's why we got moderators o.o;

    Completely ironic how some mods complain about the misbehavior of a forum and gets upset about it, and while on the other hand some mods are complaining about being bored because their forum lacks activity (aka stuff for mod to do... aka misbehavior) So exactly what do mods want? O.o; If it's too goodie-goodie, mods seem to dislike it because they're bored, and too much "activity" seems to be bad too... So what exactly do the mods want? No one knows, and no one can ever set a definition for what or how much activity a mod wants to have in his/her forum...

    since it's proven that mods will always complain regarding their forum one way or another, just sigh, shrug, and continue on the neverending battle... it's like the citizens of Japan and Godzilla. The citizens of Japan keeps rebuilding, yet they'll never finish because Godzilla will always destroy some more. Godzilla is no better on the other hand. It keeps destroying, yet there is always stuff to destroy because it keeps being rebuilt. It's a neverending cycle you got yourself into.

    i'm not gonna even try to stop you, i just want to make sure you're not mad at everybody but the people you mentioned, because everybody includes me; and I haven't broken a single rule since I been here, so I don't wan't you to be mad at me..... but i'm sure you knew being a mod you'd have to deal that kind with stuff.... and besides, if it's just being a mod dealing with that stuff that makes you mad, you can just quit being a mod.... i mean, however you became a mod, do the opposite and you'll be a normal member...

    It would be nice to have older members help you, but in FR/LG they don't even seem to notice that it is an identical thread (even if they posted in the other one), and in Emulator/Patches, the older members stick to themselves and ignore the new members such as the new members ignore the old members. Better that way though since the experts in that forum would probably cause more trouble by starting flame wars :/

    I wasn't bothered by it before, but now it just happens so often it gets quite annoying doing the same thing over again and again. I have to lock an average of 5+ topics in Emulators/Patches a day. A lot of my posts come from telling people why it is locked when if they had common sense they would know and wouldn't ahve started the thread in the first place. It gets especially annoying considering the things they ask for half the time are on a community site.

    Well the two replies I was expecting this thread to get were gotten so this will probably die now -_-

    Edit: Wow more replies while I was writing this. I'll have to include those in a response. And people, please (one of the things that is bugging me) LEARN TO READ, I said I'm not leaving, but there is a slight chance I may if something else happens (IRL or on PC).

    As said before, I'm not leaving, and yes if anything happens, I'll request demodding first, then leave later. And yes I'm sure people can't help it if they don't have common sense, but it just annoys me so very much. It is probably just because no one in my school has it, and the thought of going back in a week or two is bringing back the horrible memories of them making me take it out on PC.

    Everyone suffers no matter what. Nobody can go through life without suffering several times. Mods have their own goals, I don't mind the occasional stupid person, but when there is a large amss of them (like lately in the forums I mod except Other Games, or at school) or a few in a high position (like a certain high political figure whom will cause me to strangle myself if he is re-elected). But one or two non-important imbecile doesn't bother me too much because it is a simple fix.

    I know that has to get really annoy I mean It's not that hard to see that threre was already a thread about it, so I can understand how you could get annoyed by all the repeat threads, people shuld learn to know that the sticky threads are there for a reason, seriously they made the Italisized so they would be more noticable maybe they need to make them like a size bigger then all the other threads but I doubt that would work, sorry if that didn''t make since it's sounded right in my head -.-.

    Yes it sound like it would work in theory, but very sadly it doesn't I was one of the ones who suggested doing something like that in the first place. Now if they will bold the Patches part of "Emualtor/Patches Discussion" so, in theory once again even though it probably won't, help stop people from asking for patches in the FR/LG forum.

    As said before, i'm not leaving yet. It isn't the being a mod that is making me angry. Just large groups of people who lack common sense that have been arising lately (especially in Emu/Patches forum).

    Please don't leave !!!11!1!!!

    No... just kidding.

    Idiots annoy me too, they don't read the stickies and just don't read period. I have Q&F and no matter how many times I close a thread about TCards or whatever, ANOTHER pops up a few days later. It gets annoying as all get out. Same with forum links in Webbies (And a couple in Computers too), it just gets annoying that stupid idiots can't bother to just read the stupid stickies.

    They're at the top of the forum for a reason! They're ALWAYS at the top of the forum for a reason! FOR YOU TO READ!

    Stupid idiots that just can't bother to read stickies and rules don't deserve our attention, but if it wasn't for them there would be no need for moderators. We're here to protect rest of the intelligent members of the forum from them, and I have to say that we do a darn good job of it. We lock threads day after day, even after we become bored as all get out of it.

    On the old PC I would lurk around in the Emulation forums, and I saw how full of idiots that forum was, and Shadow, I'll give you a LOT of credit for having the patience to stay steady with that forum. If I had it, I would've dumped it long ago, there's no way I could deal with closing thread after thread, it's bad enough in Q&F...

    Anyways, I don't care to see you ask to be demodded because simply, you are the kind of Moderator that PokeCommunity needs.

    Oh, I know what you mean. I have seen so many pointless threads there... I wish that more people would actually read the rules, and look around the forum before bothering to start a new thread or even post.

    Now, I'm not trying to get onto your ignore list or anything, lol, but I hope that you do decide to stay, and maybe things will get worked out sometime soon so it won't be so hard for you. I hate when there are annoying members that haven't done anything worthy of being banned for, that post everywhere. =_=

    Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks this way.

    And when I said that I was on the verge of leaving, I meant I'd leave/request to be demodded if something quite bad happened. Such as Satoshi-kun or Abby leaving, an extremely vicious flame war between one half of PC and the other, or if something bad happened in real life. People say I'm quite intelligent, just not good at sharing it with others (which is why I hate essays, blech).

    I don?t think either of us are leaving anytime soon. How would I stalk Erica? XP
    Other games doesn?t seem so bad, I enjoy it. It could be a lot more involved, but it isn?t bad per se. One of my favorite forums on PC.
    I don?t see a problem closing threads that have an obvious reason to be closed without posting. If it?s a bad fight or something they?ll need an explanation, but if it?s clearly in the rules then the only downside is they?ll probably make a ?y was my thread closed? thread. o.x;

    Ahh this is why it?s always so important to be polite and research, especially when you?re new to a board.
