Skarmbliss counter

    As long as i have been doing online battling Skarmbliss has been my pet peeve. it destroyed all my teams and i couldnt counter it. well i finally found a way to beat it. Gengar. Id like to share this set with you.

    Genger@leftovers
    Modest EVs: Speed 252 Sp.Attack 252 HP 6
    Explosion
    Thunderbolt
    Psychic
    Giga Drain

    Thunderbolt Kills skarm in one hit and if they send bliss out use explosion to take her out. The best way to combat skarmbliss is to get rid of one of them.

    There is a SkarmBliss thread already.

    Best way to stop Skarmbliss is Blaziken.

    Flamethrower, Sub, Reversal, Swords Dance.

    The Gengar set you suggested will just die to easily.

    Try McIceGar: Sub/Focus Punch/Ice Punch/Thunderbolt.
     
    Who sends out Blissey to face Gengar? It can't attack it unless its is using Ice Beam to hax you. And exploding isn't really countering anyways...

    You're supposed to sub and let bliss switch in, then focus punch it. Not switch into a Blissey. That's stupid.
     
    Medicham owns bliss, OKHO'd my one with brick break i fink. And skarm can be taken out with blaziken, with can take down bliss to. As for ure gengar... It suks. Sorry, but McIceGar is a better gengar.
     
    I used to use sub gengar but, I was using boah as my SkarmBLiss counter so I switched it to:

    ~Ice Punch
    ~Giga Drain
    ~T-Bolt/ Thunder
    ~BOOOM

    Again, who leaves Blissey out to face Medicham? So its not a counter if it just has a type advantage, because abviously the switch out.
     
    Dugtrio with an Adamant nature will 2HKO Blissey. Only send it out against a T Wave Blissey or one that is already injured since Ice Beam might kill Dugtrio. For those of you who think that Dugtrio needs to be Jolly, read this thread. I personally use Tyraniboah, but this works too.

    If your opponent is in a bad position leave it out there

    chances are that they will shadowball, expecting you to switch to a ghost

    thats why I like non-CB Medicham it still has 400+ atk
     
    Or you can bust out with a Cacturne.

    Focus Punch/Sub/Thunderbolt or Punch whatever he gets/HP Dark.

    Boahturne.

    Or, you whoop out your very own Charizard:

    the boah thing was to cover weakness'es cacturne would need another set

    maybe HP Flying as it covers bug and fighting and thunder punch covers flying
     
    Boahturne was a joke set man.

    I know he'd need to cover weaks, he is really not worth using though, as he's to slow with to low defenses to make use of his good attack/sp.atk.

    Something like HP Flying/Ice Punch or HP Ice whatever/Focus Punch/Sub... then up pops Skarmory.
