2nd Gen So, wich starter did you pick in Gold/Silver/Crystal?

I chose Chikorita, it has been and is one of my favorite Pokemon yet. I chose it mostly because it was cute. :3

I started with all three. Chikorita on my very first try, Cyndaquil on my second, Totodile on my third, then Cyndaquil again before my Gold stopped saving. On my Crystal I started with Cyndaquil before it stopped saving too.

lol my Gold has stopped saving as well it got really frustating so I gave up playing it.

pkmn_trainer_david[/b]]i vaguely remember but you start the game from the beginning save before you take a pokemon and play till you get pokeballs, then you catch two pokemon, deposit your starter and one other pokemon change boxes and turn of the game before it saves. then you repeat that process till you have all 3. at least i think thats what it was.

mmm.. I used a different technique. I got one of the starters traded it a friend started again, got a different starter traded that one then started again got the one starter that I didn't have then caught two common pokemon (hootoot, sentret etc.) then traded to get my other starters back. However that meant the other two would act like traded Pokemon ie. increased XP, not obeying but I still got all three in the end.

BTW I chose Cyndiquil before I did that as it was the strongest against the Gyms.

I picked Chicorita. I have always had an obsession with cute pokemon (Like I'd pick an Azuril over Darkrai.) I didn't find Totodile that cute (Especially his final evo :() And Cyndaquil wasn't ugly but was not that cute either in my opinion. Something about Chicorita just made me think "It is so adorable. i have to have that!"

I pick the cute Cyndaquil. I always choose Cyndaquil and nothing others.

Cyndaquil or Chikorita makes the most sense because unlike Totodile, their stats are good for their pokemon types. Totodile who is a water type makes a better Attacker, therefore you couldn't make use of it being a water type. I generally pick Cyndaquil because he is my favorite and looks the coolest

I have had them all and more than once. But if you mean the very first starter I chose than Totadile in Silver.

In pokemon gold I started with Totodile, in pokemon I started with Chikorita, in pokemon Crystal I started with Typhlosion.
