Somethin about the First Movie

    Hey does anyone remember that part in the First movie when Mew and Mewtwo fired blasts at eachother and Ash ran smack into both of em? and he "turned to stone" who thinks that in the Japenese version Ash actually died, and the editors of the US version recolored him gray so it looked like he was stone?
     
    Umm...know he acutally turned into a stone i have that version it's the same thing.
     
    Yep. blue is right. Ash did turn into stone. That part wasn't edit. The only part that was edit was the story about the Pok?mon tears bring something back to life. :)

    hmm...well i was wrong XD i was watcing it and it kinda looked a little life like to be a statue XD
     
    Just a guess but at the end Mewtwo sent everyone back to where they were before the Island so I guess Mewtwo could've done that and the English edit was just added??? Eh, just what I think.
     
    Satoshi (Ash) turning to stone wasn't supposed to be literal, I'm sure. I think him hardening and looking like a statue was supposed to show that he was dead and his spirit left him. After all, without your spirit, you're body's just some lifeless shell.
     
    About Ash actually dying in the first movie, wasn't there one other time where he died? In The Tower of Terror, when the chandelier fell on him did he actually die, because I think that he was dead and with the ghost pokemon, but they brought him back to life...and besides, Misty wouldn't have been that distraught if he had just been unconscious. He would have to have been not breathing or anything like that for her to be in tears like that...
