Sonic Battle (GBA)

I've beaten the Japanese version which has an English text option. And hopefully the only thing they edited for the American release were the spoken voices and the one profane word in the game (Rouge calls Eggman a vulgar name)

This game probably has the cheapest character ever in a fighting game. Emerl (named by Sonic after the Chaos Emeralds) can use any move of any characters as well as the Ult. techniques whihc are super-powered versions of Emerl's base techniques and are stronger then any other technique (except for the secret combos, which are powered up versions of other's attacks).

I like playing as Chaos 0 and Shadow. Shadow learned some new Chaos attacks and is faster at Chaos Control in this.
 
It's pretty neat. Some options were confusing at first. Nice storyline. They really tie this in with Heroes. I just wish Chaos Gamma had his own episode so you could learn more about him. I also wish more of the Shadow mystery was solved, but that's one of Shadow's traits, he's mysterious.
 
So true... Shadow, oh Shadow, when will thou discover thy self, thy past, and thy future(Not sur weather to put thy or thine in the last two thys.).
 
Hey, for those of you who have played SSB or SSBM and this game, who does this game stand up? Gameplay and fun factor wise because it's a no brainer which one has the better graphics hehe. I heard it was really fun and was very close to SSB and SSBM, but not quite as good, very close though.
 
Not as many characters as SSBM, but still pretty neat. I like the story mode on this better then Arcade, Adventure, or All-Star mode. Now we just need Sonic characters in a SSB game....

Semi off-topic so i don't double post in the Heores thread; I beat all 4 stories, got all 7 Chaos Emeralds, beat the secret story, and now I am trying to get all A Rank.
 
Yeah... that would be awsome if there were Sonic charactor in a SSB Game. Sonic would be automat matic and Knuckle and Shadow and maybe Tails(Tails could be an automatic but I have no clue.)or Amy would be unlockable charactors!!! So Awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Actually when SSBM was announced, Shigeru Miyamoto said he could get Sonic in it if he wanted because he was such friends with Sonic Team. He wasn't really going to put Sonic in it though because it is supposed to be for Nintendo characters only.

Something that would have made Sonic Battle better is if they had put Metal Sonic and/or Omega in it. Sonic did say he if Metal Sonic wanted a rematch, just let him know. And Omega would be a neat addition, and if they incoporated him they could have made a Gamma episode probably.
 
Oh. Sonic. I love sonic games. Ever sence it came out...Ya. So. this game is for gba.. whats it like? Anyone have screenshots for it?
 
It is a fighting game with Sonic. The plot revolves around a robot who can copy attacks and stuff from getting hit by them and/or seeing them. It gets funny when he starts imitating Sonic's way of speech, calls Amy 'mom', and blurts out a secret of Knuckles. "It's a secret, but Knuckles got tricked by Eggman again."

I play this game too! I haven't beat it yet but it's pretty cool. I don't use Shadow much, I find him too 00ber, and Shadow, I like your character comparison thing, although the only thing that made sense to me was the Emerl-Kirby thing. Good Thinking. Lol
