4th Gen Start with any pokemon?

    Ok so i played Diamond and it was great like most pokemon games and now i am kinda in a pickle, i would like to start over with any pokemon i choose from gen 1-3. I know this is possible later with action replay and game shark , but when is the soonest from the begining can i do this? i started a new game got my starter got to the first city, used actionreplay for pokedex and walk anyware and went to talk to the prof but he just tells me that i seen all the pokemon and there is no option to migrate. anyone done this before?
     
    you could just trade your starter as soon as possible with someone who will give you the pokemon you actually want to start with. you dont need the national dex for that.
     
    The soonest you can migrate is after beating all the gym leaders and the Elite Four. You should just trade over pokemon in eggs from a different Diamond or Pearl game. Once they hatch you'll be the OT and they will obey you.
     
    Ah, my boyfriend, I mean, friend, did this.

    From what I understand, he just put the code to encounter any Pokemon(without the national dex) and still found what he wanted. My cousin did this, too. It should work.

    Im not sure what code you are talking about. I havent found any code like that for Action replay

    Hey, but just follow the tips by SuperKyogreRuler and me. Then you also dont have to cheat. I can trade you an egg from any starter from any generation and you can also pick its nature.
     
    well see i dont have anyone to trade with and im not just wanting starters, see this is what i want, Torchic, houndour, zapdos, poliwirl,riolu,kirlia. even if i found someone to trade with i have no idea how to trade online via wifi, if i went to a hotspot to go wifi, how would i find who i want to trade with?
     
    also i really have nothing to offer for trade it would be just random pokemon, would that be alright?
     
    i could get those eggs, except for zapdos of course (doesnt come in an egg). i will breed them with a ditto with the nature you want holding an everstone, so the chance it will have that nature will be 50 percent (i can get lvl1s with the right nature of course, but then they might grow too fast and wont obey you at one point).
    you could go to a hotspot, like the local starbucks and we would set a time on which we'd trade. but if you really want zapdos and have them all with the right nature for sure you should check out some more ARcodes... think about it and let me know!
     
    This is easy ill give you a Legendary bird as long as you dont care about the nature too badly i have plenty of rares i can trade to give you one
     
    If you want the catch any pokemon codes for Action Replay, they're under the UK version in the PC index CD. They work perfectly for Diamond and Pearl. That's how I completed my pokedex.
     
    i completed my pokedex (all 491) with out cheating. i just have a tonn of friends and a lot of hours on the GTS 92 trades and counting 300 + game hours and counting. so i have alot of extra valuable pokes i can use to trade and a few favors to call in to get you what you need with out cheating.
