Starting Over

I think this has come across all of our minds, we are bored and thinking way back of the Kanto/Johto days and have the urge to pick up the older generation games. As of right now, I have decided to get going the old Gold and Blue games going and I am going to start tonight, probably Pokemon Blue. Has anyone else recently started their games over for these? I am gearing up for Spring, when I can finally play HG/SS. I am probably going to play on my PC but I don't use hacks. So if you are also starting over, who is your starter and post your journal/party updates for fun. I may post some screen shots if this thread is aloud. I am also thinking of maybe joining one of those challenge threads if they start up again, they sound fun. Starting over is always fun knowing the adeventure ahead of you.

I replay the older games all the time. I just recently picked up my Pokemon Gold where I'm just after the first gym.

I plan on starting over in my Red game, mostly because I beat it already and partly because I traded my best Pokemon over to my Silver for safekeeping and Silver deleted the save file. >.< There goes the only Clefable I ever bothered to raise...

I think doing a challenge might be fun. Which one should I do...

Hmm weird..... I just beat Pokemon Blue from scratch yesterday.

Just beat Red version for the first time yesterday. Despite them being 8-10 levels higher than all of my Pokemon, the Elite 4 was a joke on that game and posed no threat. I'd even say it was easier than the Johto E4.
