strategy against rayquasa

    i have got afriend who uses a rayquasa against my non legends and i seriously hate that.but i still wanto battle him though so any ideas.i tried using a milotic with ice beam.and since hes being so cheap i am thinking about double team?otherwise hell just cream my team

    100% damage to Rayquaza
    Rayquaza fainted

    Ah, its no use. Its probably not getting through to him still.

    Rayquaza=Dragon/Flying
    Dragon/Flying=4x weakness to Ice
    Rayquaza=4x weakness to Ice
    Rayquaza=OHKO'd by Ice Beam

    Not if the Rayquaza has 252 HP ad Sp. Defence WITH Calm and Milotic with -Sp. Attack Nature
     
    This is lol. If its about the same level it should OHKO. Besides, who would be so stupid as to give Rayquaza a Calm Nature. Also, its sort of sad this guy can't even 2HKO the freaken Rayquaza. It depends on the level, Nature (it won't have Calm Nature, or at least it shouldn't), and the EVs and IVs.

    Also, if this is NetBattle, this guy is cheap because the Ubers aren't allowed in the OU metagame. If this is in-game, run through your calculations again.

    choose Regice with Blizzerd/Icebeam. You need somthing withn A high sp.att&sp.def. Rayquaza's High sp.def is somthing you should be warned of.

    Well, its a Uber for Pete's sake. All is stats are decent, except or Attack, which is awesome. Also, Rayquaza is better with physical attacks and usually doesn't use special attacks. High Defense is prefered. You could just use Kyogre since Rayquaza is a Uber and should be able to use one too I guess. Kyogre OHKOs any Rayquaza with IB. If not, Jynx will more than likely OHKO Rayquaza with IB.

    Yeah, but I still I don't think he exactly gets the point.

    Get Ice Beam or jump off a cliff I guess. XD

    Vansh, make sure that the Pokemon with an Ice Attack is at least the same level as Rayquaza. Then, make sure that your Pokemon's Nature does not decrease its Special Attack stat. The Natures that decrease Special Attack are Adamant, Jolly, Impish, and Careful.
    Also, to make it easier for you to kill it in one hit, it would be better if you EV trained your Pokemon. You can learn about EVs in this guide (it's near the bottom): https://www.pokecommunity.com/threads/72415

    He obviously needs some recalculating consider that if Milotic can't 2HKO Rayquaza with IB he's probably bunches of levels below, has a -Special Attack Nature, and horrible IVs.
