Hi... your Friendly Neighbrhood Gullwing here with her first fanfiction. ^^ Yes, this is my first... really, ever. When I was a n00b on SPPF, I wrote two that never finished, both usually stopped at the first chapter. And then, even on the first chapter, everyone hated it because my grammar and spelling was off. But over those three years, I've improved in writing, I think, and I've been writing stories since then. I'm more of a shy writer becuase of those bad comments I got, but since I got better, if I get good comments, I might post more.
    Now, I know I'm using the size small, but I'm making the story with regular size. Flash backs will all be in italics. And just to add, I know my style of writing isn't all that great. I hope that's still okay... The first chapter in my notebook I wrote this in is about 30 pages long, so I have to cute the chapters up to make them shorter. Don't be mad at me with the weird chapter endings... XD;

Oh. And before I begin, I hope information like this is nessisary. I have Character thingies.

    Furea
    Bree
    Ichigo

Um... also, this isn't fanart, so don't be bashing me telling me how weird these look. ^^; [They came out weird looking to me.]

All right. without further adieu, here's chapter one.
    PG14!

    Chapter 1
    Encounter Buizel

On a calm sunny afternoon, a young weasel Pokemon sits by the edge of the ocean on Sandgem town. His short orange fur shines brightly in the hot sun while he stares at his tinted reflection. Around his neck is a round yellow floatation sac that helps him swim above water. Calmly, he sniffs the air and sighs with relaxation and embraces himself with his tails.

    "Bui..." he said.

Hidden from the Pokemon, a girl trainer hides behind a old tall palm tree and a few bushes. She leans against the tree where the Pokemon cannot see her and peeks on him.

"Buizel, it's a male, desu, about five meters away..." Said the girl quietly. "Do you see him Pachi-chan?"

Under the girl's feet stood a small, white, blue striped squirrel Pokemon, Pachirisu.

    "Chi pa!" Answered the squirrel.

The girl quickly turns away behind the tree again as the Buizel twitches his tails. He turns his head side to side and growls lightly. The girl sweat-drops and reports:

"He seems to have noticed us..."

"Pachi," Said the Pachirisu with a small flick of his giant fluffy tail. oticing noises, the Buizel stays calm and looks around cautiously to every sound he hears.

"Buizel is kind of rare around here, desu. It's not too often you find a Buizel here in Sandgem." The girl says. The sunlight breached through the clouds and pierced through the spider leg-like leaves on the palm trees and created speckled patterns on the ground. The dazzling sun revealed the girl's identity from the shade. She stands about five foot one inches tall with a grey-white T-shirt with a yellow button T-shirt over it, and a black tie around her neck with a round white Pokeball design on it, and long, baggy, dark grey shorts down to her knees. On her back she carries a light blue bad containing Pokeballs, potions, poffins, and bags of tea, which she loves very much. She wears three green bracelets on her left wrist that can change shape and be used for training her Pokemon. It's an invention she made herself. Her skin is pale and her straight hair shines royal blue with a pair of pigtails down to her shoulders. Crimson red were the color of her eyes, beaming through the horizon with desire, though they seemed very calm and gentle.
Her Pachirisu, Pachi-chan, the Pokemon at her feet, has a small body, a big head and a big tail. His fur is white and well-groomed with a blue stripe from the top of his head running right down his back and up his tail. There are two yellow patches on his cheeks that shore bits of electricity. The squirrel acts as a loyal companion to the girl, always there to help her out through battles.
The blue haired girl takes off her blue bag and takes out a sake bottle filled with Tetley tea, opens it and quietly takes a sip.
"I want that orange ball of cuteness, desu," she says. "Pachi-chan, get in your attack position."

"Pa!" Squeals Pachi-chan, he flicks his bushy tail and scurries through the bushes. He heads to the left of Buizel on all fours and hides.

"In position... great, desu." The girl picks up a thin stick from the ground and hits it across her hand. The Buizel still looks around cautiously, but not looking for a fight.
"If Buizel feels he's in danger, he'll attack. When I throw this stick to his right, desu, he'll go after it while Pachi-chan can attack from the other side." She says to herself. She hits her hand again with the wooden stick and clutches it with both hands. Looking over the side of the tree again, she notices the orange weasel Pokemon looking straight at her from behind his shoulder.
"Aaah!" The girl shrieks and turns back behind the tree.

"Bui!" Yells Buizel, he jumps on both feet towards the tree, growling and awaiting for the girl to appear again. The girl gulps and holds the stick close to her chest.

"He saw me..." She thinks, sighing with nervousness. "I better do this quick then," she grips the stick tightly, little bits of weak bark crumble and fall off. At last, she takes it in one hand and throws it to the Buizel's right [now left], making shuddering noises in the bushes. The Buizel grits his teeth and quickly zooms to the bushes to find what made the noise..

"Okay... he's distracted" The girl says out loud.

"Bui?" Buizel attacks the bush but only finds the stick.

"Pachi-chan, go! Shock Wave, desu!" Commands the girl.

"Chi pa!" Yells the electric squirrel Pokemon, Pachi-chan, dashing down to the sea weasel. Buizel jumps out startled with the stick in his jaws, blue lightning streaks come from Pachi-chan's yellow cheeks and soon around his body as he runs down the beach. The electricity around his body flare and spread out as he speeds up. He throws his electric body onto the Buizel's body, shocking him with the Shock Wave attack.

"Buiii!" Buizel cries, dropping the stick from his mouth, while both their bodies his the ground.

"Pachi!" Pachi-chan leaps off Buizel's body and stands on both feet on a pointed rock near the edge of the sandy beach with sparks of electricity coming from his cheek patches. Buizel starts twitching from the shock and quickly gets himself up and shakes his head and smirks at the electric Pokemon. He seems interested in battling a Pokemon of a type he is weak against. The girl jumps out from behind the tree and the bushes and yells to the Pachirisu.

"Pachi-chan, use Quick Attack, desu!" Pachi-chan jumps from the rock with amazing speed, making it impossible for Buizel to dodge in time. The squirrel bashes his head against Buizel's stomach head on and Buizel falls backwards on it's bottom. With his two front paws, the Buizel stops himself by clawing the sand underneath himself and clutches deep into the dirt. He smacks the ground under him with his double tails to recoup his balance. He took the quick attack like it was nothing. Pachi-chan leeps backwards again from the weasel and lands on the same rock. He keeps a pleasant smile on his face during the fight.

"Bui!" He says, opening his jaws and shooting a blast of blue water from his mouth straight at the Pachirisu. Without his trainer commanding him to do so, he leans on his giant poofy tail and springs up, dodging the Water Gun. Then, while in the air, Pachi-chan uses another head-on Quick Attack, hitting Buizel on target.

"Great!" Shouts the blue trainer. She thinks to herself: "Would now be a good time to catch it, desu? The Buizel looks pretty weak now." She glances at the fallen Buizel and his twitching whiskers. His paws stiffen as he begins to bring himself up from the ground, standing on two legs. All beat up, he looks to Pachi-chan, with that same smirk he was giving him before. He winces his right eye and then puts his paw out in front of him, posing as The Rock.

"Bui bui." He says. The girl makes out him saying 'Bring it on."

"That will!" She wonders admirably. "I'd love a Pokemon with such cuteness, desu... confidence, desu... calmness, de...su... and coolness! My four C's, desu! I have to catch him! But I must weaken him more, desu."
Buizel's double tails start to spin again like a fan and whip up sand and dust. He starts to lower his body, readying to attack, but, apparently, Pachi-chan gets distracted, looking to the spinning tails with a playful face.

    "Pa?"

"Pachi-chan!" Calls out the girl, "Buizel's coming in with a Quick Attack!"

Buizel takes one step backwards and then and then dashes right down to Pachi-chan with full speed and actually attacking him this time–right in the stomach.. The move was also too fast to dodge, and Pachi-chan springs back and lands hard on his back, forgetting to use his tail as an air bag. The squirrel starts to cough weakly on the ground while Buizel keeps a close eye on him. The trainer looks over the battle in a calm state with high hopes for Pachi-chan getting back on his feet. She was pretty much positive.

Good so far, Wingy-Chan! ^^. Of course anythign you write is always going to be good. Looking forawrd to the rest.

And don't worry about the profile things, they didn't come out weird they came out just fine.

It looks pretty good. I liked it.

I like it. :o Except, you're changing between past tense and present tense.. Everytime you've written "said", it should be "says", otherwise it doesn't make sense.

    Waiting for more. (:

I take it the trainer in this chapter is Ichigo...maybe I missed her name??? I think it was great, very detailed...the only thing I saw wrong with it is the exvessive use of the word 'and' in a few sentences...but it was very very good, I liked the descriptions of the pokemon best because they just helped me see the pokemon in my head...it was actually a battle you'd expect to imagine, it's detailed, it takes you step by step through the battle. Good job!!!can't wait for more!!!

Aside from the tense switches, as diamondpearl876 said before, there were a few other grammar issues.

Most of your dialogue comes with the tags of "said". When you have a dialogue tag like that, you don't need to capitalize it. You also don't need to use a full stop as the ending punctuation for the dialogue. I'll show you.

    I think you get it. ^^;

There were also just a few typos as well. Like "bad" for "bag". That's the only one I remember.

I still like this though. There was enough description that I could clearly see what was happening in the battle, and that I could see everything else in my mind's eye. I'm looking forward to more chapters of this!

    Ack, I'm so embarrassed. XD;
I knew there were things in the beginning I need to fix... I'll be sure to fix them soon and in the rest of the fic.
Anywho... I'll have next chapter tomorrow...

no need to be embarrassed, at least your story is getting some reviews. XD I got one, because hanoko is awesome like that.

    good luck with chapter two!

Hehehe...^^; Okay, diamondpearl876. And thank you, blaziken_ ^^' That's nice to hear after just one chapter.

Well... I'm sorry about the huge delay. I said I'd have it here a few days ago... so ... sorry. ^^'Um... enjoy please!

    Chapter 2
    Capture Buizel

"I should stick to Shock Wave and Spark, desu," the blue haired girl was thinking. At that second, Pachi-chan jumps to his feet confidently with small bolts of crackling electricity coming from his cheeks. The girl continues to think:

"Buizel is a water type, desu, and it's weak against electric type attacks." As she thinks in her head, her Pokemon and Buizel start to attack each other at the same time, inflicting the same damage.
"Okay, Pachi-chan!" The trainer calls out, "use Spark this time, please, desu!"
"Chi pa..." starts Pachi-chan, glowing with blue lightning around his body again.

"Bui," yells Buizel. He jumps away from Pachi-chan and the electricity that sparks around him, he twirls in the air and the shoots a glowing boomerang from sides of his tails, and impacting right onto Pachirisu.

"Pachi-chan's Spark missed when Buizel jumped back, but he was hit with Sonicboom, desu..." says the girl, her voice quiet. "Wow, a Sonicboom attack, desu... are you okay, Pachi-chan?"

"Pa," replies Pachi-chan. Buizel lands safely on two feet onto one of the rocks on the beach. The trainer then commands Pachi-chan to attack with another Quick attack, so he does so. Dashing feet start moving at the speed of light towards the weasel, who just completely dodged the attack by jumping right over the Pachirisu before hitting his target. In the air, Buizel twirls around again and fires another Sonicboom from his tails. "Risu?" Pachi-chan chirps as his foe, Buizel, disappears.

"Hurry, jump into the water! Buizel's gonna use another Sonicboom, desu!" Yells the girl. Pachi-chan does as he's told and hides in the ocean water under him even though he doesn't know why he was doing so. Besides, he was only a few inches away from falling off the edge of the rock anyways. The Sonicboom crashed down and broke the rock where the squirrel was on before he dived in the ocean, and sent broken down cobbles in the water to hit Pachi-chan. Startled and out of breath, Pachi-chan jumps up out and starts to cough. Buizel begins to snicker as the electric Pokemon seemed to be losing.

"Pachi-chan is weaker than Buizel now. I don't know if I should continue fighting if Pachi-chan can't take anymore, desu..." the girl says. She reaches behind herself in her bag and takes out a round ball–a Pokemon catching devise called a Pokeball. Red on the top, white on the bottom with a button in the center. Pokemon Trainers use Pokeballs to capture Pokemon, but this one was already used for Pachi-chan. "I should call him back, desu." She says. She holds out the Pokeball and points it at the squirrel. "Pachi-chan, retur--"

"Pachi!" Yells the Pachirisu, he releases a bright Shock Wave attack to the sky, obviously saying he's not done yet. The trainer forgets to blink as her Pokemon steps up for more. Slowly, an innocently happy smile smears across her face and she and puts Pachi-chan's Pokeball back in her bag.
"Okay then, Pachi-chan, we'll keep fighting." she says with a kind smile. The confident look on Buizel's face turned into an annoyed expression. Now he only wanted to win this battle so it could be over with. He growls and throws his arms up in the air and dashes down to Pachi-chan with an aura of water surrounding him, moving at the same speed as his Quick Attack.

"Th-that's Aqua Jet, desu..." the girl gasps. "Get out of the way, Pachi-chan!"
Pachi-chan jumps onto the beach and lands on his stomach while Buizel and his Aqua Jet just miss him. "Dammit," the girl says quietly. "Buizel is always moving in the air now to dodges Pachi-chan's attacks. Pachi-chan can jump high, but only in our future Contest appeals, desu." She glances at the rounded green bracelets on her left wrist and then to Pachi-chan. Out loud, she says: "Oh... that's it, desu!" The girl the bracelets off and presses a red button on all three of the of them. They expand to hula hoops the size of dinner plates. "Pachi-chan! We're gonna show Buizel our Contest trick... desu!"

    "Bui?"

    "Chi pa!"

The girl throws the green rings in the air above the battle in a form where they hovered one over the other without spreading out. Buizel confusedly looks up to them. Just then, a boom of bravery exploded in the girl's heart as she thought about Pokemon Contests. With a sudden afraid expression, her shining crimson eyes have turned to a shimmering sapphire blue color, a bit darker than her royal blue hair. At that moment, the shy, timid, blue haired trainer experienced a mild personality change, almost as if she were taken over by another soul.

"Heeheeheehee!" She giggles evily. Spreading her arms in front of her, she calls out: "Kawaii Kai-o-ga, Magical Blue! Pachi-chan! Do Iron Tail now!"

"Pachi!" Pachi-chan's voice seemed to echo when he squeals, swishing his tail to the side as it starts to glow. He leans on his giant tail of steal and springs up high, easily and gracefully gliding through the rings, leaving a faint silver glittery look behind. When he finally got to the top of the last ring, he playfully swirls around with it and his Iron Tail, electricity spurting from his yellow cheeks.

"Now, use Spark!" The blue-eyed girl commands with a stern voice. Buizel winces after hearing the word of another electric attack, so he springs into action too, flying in with another Aqua Jet. "Do it now! Spark! Buizel is going to attack!" She yells. Poor Pachi-chan was not used to hearing his trainer like this.

"Pa!" Pachi-chan uneasily replies, sending out a blue explosion of electricity. This display of Spark was bigger than usual though, bigger and wide enough to shock Buizel from yards away. The Spark appeared stronger too. Buizel yelps, being electrocuted by the abnormal powerful Spark attack. He then falls onto the hard ground with his back hitting the edge of a stone. He coughs with little bits of blood coming right from his mouth.

"Nice." The possessed trainer crackles. Pachi-chan finishes the act by landing gracefully on the ground on all fours with his shining iron tail and blue electric flares around his body. He extends his tail and catches all three on the green rings as they fell from the sky and worriedly looks to his trainer's changed vicious blue eyes. The girl reaches into her bag again and takes out another Pokeball; an unused one. "This Buizel is weak enough now." She says, clumsily trying to balance the Pokeball on one of her index fingers. "Heeheehee...all right, go Pokeball!"
She presses a button in the center of the ball and it grows into a bigger form, fitting into her hand. Then, she throws it at the fainted Buizel, hitting him on the nose and the ball opens up. A red beam flashes out from the opening, abducting the Pokemon into the small ball. Surprisingly, Buizel had turned into that red beam and was transferred into the Pokeball. The ball closes and drops on the rock, almost landing in the water. On the ground, the Pokeball wiggles and the button in the center glows and beeps red. She walks to the ball with an evil smile on her face and stops where it meets her feet. She looks away still smiling as the red glowing and beeping of the button on the Pokeball fade. Buizel was captured.

"Hehehehe..." chuckles the girl. "That Pokemon was too weak then to bust out of there," she says. She reaches down and picks up the ball, looking to it with her sapphire eyes. Heehehehehee! All right, Ichigo's got a new member of her Magical Blue team! And it's a water type! Heehehehee!" The girl, known as 'Ichigo,' balances the Pokeball one of her index fingers again and giggles. Pachi-chan still stands feet away where his trainer was hiding before. His body starts to shake as well, but in fear.

As she tries to show off, Ichigo looks behind herself to her Pachirisu's sad little eyes.

"Hunh...? Pachi-chan?" She says quietly. "...What's wrong, Pachi-cha–ack...!" another strange force explodes in her heart with a single beat. She drops the Pokeball on the ground, bends over and grabs the sides of her head, holding her ears shut. She mumbles a few words and shivers as she struggles. Pachi-chan scurries back over to his trainer and grabs her feet, starting to snap her out of it by trying to shake her. Ichigo didn't respond to her Pokemon... she kept quiet and still, but lightly shivering.
After two minutes, the girl finally stops shaking and calms down. She slowly straitens her back and stands up right and opens her eyes. When she opens her eyes, they appear red again. Calm, innocent, timid crimson eyes. Worriedly looking to the squirrel at the ground looking back up at her, she sighs with troubled breathes. She suddenly began to become dizzy, seeing two Pachi-chan's and she starts to lose her balance.
"S...sorry, desu!" She whimpers to Pachi-chan, her shy voice breaking. She falls over to the ground on her bottom and accidently grasps the Pokeball she caught Buizel with.

"Pa pa pachi su!" Exclaimed Pachi-chan. He grabs onto her foot again and tries to console her.

Okay, you're still having that slight problem with dialogue. It was fine in the beginning and the end, but the middle...it just all blew up. Starting from Ichigo commanding Pachi-chan to jump into the water, you begin to lose the hold on correct punctuation. I know that you know what you're doing, so I'll just remind you to check over your work before posting. ^^

The trainer calls out, "use Spark this time, please, desu!"
Oh, and here, "use" is capitalised. Dialogue is a confusing thing to punctuate, isn't it. xD

Now you have a twist to the simple storyline. Ichigo and her "other side". So now I'm curious as to how this will all fit in together. I'll keep reading this, and reviewing!

Heh, I'm sorry agaimn about thet, I had already written that part when I put the first chapter up and I was really confuesed if I should've change it all or not. But I'll be sure to corect those soon. And make sure I don't make those mistake in the future chapters...

I'll have the third up this week, hopefully...

Second chapter is good, as well, Wingy-Chan. I'm looking forawrd to what's coming next. ^^. Ichigo and her alternate side, this is going to be one hell of a fanfiction! In a good way, of course.

    - Flarey-Chan

[ PS: Punctuation can be a real bitch, can't it? XD; ]

Wow, that was good too, but don't be sorry about punctuation, sometimes you can't help it. That was a really good chapter, but it's almost scary thinking about what Ichigo is going through, I fell bad for her, and she's only a character!!!

    Thanks. ^^
Yeah, punctuation can be a... an eeek. x_x
Sorry for the ten day delay. ^^; It's actually shorter than I thought. So is this chapter. I'm sorry for it's shortness... chapter four won't be as short though, I promise you. It may actually be the longest...

    Chapter 3
    'That'

Ichigo breathes with long, deep, heavy breathes as she and Pachi-chan try to snap herself out of her dizziness. Dully, she looks to the Pachirisu's eyes again. Then she mumbles something:

    "Pachi-chan, what's wrong, desu?"

"Pa...chi pa..." answers Pachi-chan, his voice dwindling. Ichigo looks to the Pokeball in her hand.

"What just happened, desu...? Everything's all fuzzy and orange.... how did I get on the ground, desu?" mumbles Ichigo, now scratching her head. She could barely remember what had just happened. She starts to lose her dizziness and look around herself. Suddenly, she looks to Pachi-chan with half of her brain working and starts to snicker at her Pokemon.

"Pa...?" Pachi-chan chirps, titling his head to the side.

"Well, well, well, desu, Pachi-dude! Nice arms, desu! Have you been working out your upper body strength?" asks an illusional Ichigo with a faint pink blush, smiling uncontrollably. "You look very sexy, desu!" Ichigo's awkwardness broke the seriousness of worrying about what had just happened.

"Su..." Pachi-chan's left eye twitches, not even daring to look at his tiny paw-stubs for arms. Confused and quite disturbed, Pachi-chan yells at his dumb trainer and roughly smacks her with his big tail.

"Ohh, desu! Who am I, Furea?!" yells Ichigo as her loyal Pachirisu hits her. While sitting on her knees, Ichigo almost falls backwards from being hit by her Pokemon's tail.
"Wait, Furea doesn't think Pokemon are sexy, desu," she says until a strange crack is heard coming from her leg. Suddenly, Ichigo flings back up, grabs her right leg and shrieks.

"Chi pa?!" Pachi-chan squeals. He suddenly realizes that pushing her while sitting one her knees caused her knee to pop out, hurting at every movement.

"Oh no, not again, desu!" cries Ichigo. Pachi-chan's owner gets these a lot while sitting on her knees, and she knew how to get rid of them. She handles the situation carefully and slowly, holding onto a branch of the tree to try and stand up on one leg, while she kept her injured knee in sit position. Tears start to run down her cheeks at even the slightest movement of her leg.

"Desu... I hate this..." Ichigo whimpers. She stiffens her fists on the tree branch and grips tightly onto Buizel's Pokeball as she ever-so-slowly straitens her leg and Pachi-chan, feeling guilty, hides his face behind his big tail. At last, Ichigo finally snaps her knee back into place with another popping sound. Just as the sound was heard, she steps on her bad leg and collapses back on to the ground.
"Ugh, ow..." she mutters, rubbing the sides of her sore knee. The little tears by her eyes quickly vanish. She lets out a huge relieved sigh as she calms herself from her confusion and her random hurting.
"It's okay, Pachi-chan, you don't need to hide, desu," she says in a sweet voice. Pachi-chan reveals himself from his tail and nervously chirps to his trainer. Though she wasn't sure what he wanted.

    "Pachi..."

"I'm clumsy, desu. That's been happening a lot latel,... maybe I should lose some weight, desu..." says a depressed Ichigo.

    "Pa, chi pachi pa!"

"No, I think I really need to cut off on the sesame chicken, I'm really into that stu–desu?" Ichigo paused suddenly and looked around again blankly.
"Desu–oh yeah...w...where's Buizel?" she wonders, suddenly realizing that the Buizel wasn't around. She then turns to Pachi-chan and pouts. "He got away, desu? No... I really wanted to catch him..."

"Pa, pachi chipa," Pachi-chan says to his trainer, pointing to the Pokeball in Ichigo's hand. Ichigo notices the Pokeball right away because she had forgotten what it was for.

"Desu?" she wonders. "I caught him? How did I... whoa." Ichigo suddenly feels a strange chill down her back from behind her backpack. "Oh no..." she says to herself. "Did... 'that'... no, it couldn't have been 'that', desu..."

"Pa?" says Pachi-chan, titling his head to the side again.

"Things fade away quickly and something, desu... or someone else takes over my body and I can't remember anything. But 'that' hasn't happened in years, desu...!" She thought out loud. Pachi-chan listens in but doesn't understand anything she says. "If 'that' happened...then... ehehe! No, desu, that can't happen!" Says Ichigo, trying to avoid the subject of 'that,' now standing up on her two feet holding up the Pokeball confidently. Pachi-chan still looking to his trainer uncomfortably.
"Cool...I caught Buizel, and I don't even know how, desu!" Ichigo says with an uneasy smile. "Ichigo, Magical Blue, as added a new member to her team, desu! Everyone welcome Floatie the Buizel, desu desu!" She nicknames her Buizel 'Floatie' like she nicknamed her Pachirisu 'Pachi-chan.'

Nicknaming herself Magical Blue, Ichigo's goal is to become a great Pokemon Coordinator one day and compete for the Grand Festival. Pokemon Coordinators are trainers that enter their Pokemon in contests and preform in front of judges. Coordinators and their Pokemon are later scored on their appeals. The top eight out of dozens of Coordinators with the highest scores competing in the contest are able to move on and battle for the winner. In these battles, Pokemon have lengthy amounts of Health Points shown on a big screen above the battle field. Whenever a Pokemon in the battle misses, gets hurt, or messes up their moves, the Health Points go down. Which ever side with the most Health Points left within five minutes is the winner, or, unless one side's points have gone down before the time limit. Winners of four battles compete and whoever came the farthest and wins the final match wins a ribbon. Trainers like Ichigo aiming to compete in the Grand Festival have to win five contests and win five ribbons. Unlike normal battles between trainers, contest battles have a five minute time limit for each match. Ichigo has no ribbons yet nor has she ever competed in a contest before, but she thinks that watching contests on TV, practicing, and training with Pachi-chan everyday is enough. She watches them on TV all the time while drinking tea, seeing others battle like the ones on the TV and her sisters motivate her for her contest dream. She likes battling, but she said she would never do Gym battles like her sisters. For one reason she keeps to herself, and she likes to make her Pokemon's moves look beautiful.

Being the best Coordinator around in Sinnoh isn't her only dream. Apparently, Ichigo has had a dream going back since when she was a just a little child of nine years old. For about six years, Ichigo has been dreaming of catching the legendary Sea Basin pokemon Kyogre. When she was little, Ichigo lived with her uncle and her twin sister Furea on Mossdeep City of Hoenn, a big island surround by the vast sea. Four years back, when Ichigo still lived there, an evil band of criminals started going wild. Team Aqua was their name, their purpose was to steal a special orb from Mt. Pyre to control the beast Kyogre. Their goal of doing that was to have Kyogre summon constant heavy rainfalls and expand the sea to house more water Pokemon and fish. When she was eleven, Ichigo had an amazing and unforgettable encounter with her ideal Pokemon Kyogre.

Ichigo calmly sighs and starts to think about the joy her new Pokemon will bring her, so she instantly puts on a bright smile. She puts her arm out with the Buizel's Pokeball and looks at its roundness from a distance and Pachi-chan jumps up and grabs on, happy to see his trainer looking well. As she looks into the Pokeball's roundness, she couldn't help but remember her first encounter with Kyogre several years back. She imagines the Pokeball in her hand change into a strange blue orb, falling into a momentous flashback of her life she will never forget.

Wow, Wingy-Chan! ^^. Awesome chapter, it is ont as short as it seems. Can't wait for the next one.

that was great, and you're getting better!!! I only caught one thing

""Well, well, well, desu, Pachi-dude! Nice arms, desu! Have you been working out your upper body strength?" asks an illusional Ichigo with a faint pink blush, smiling uncontrollably."

do you mean delussional??? I don't think I spelled it right though...because illusions are sort of like pictures..lol!!! but that was good!!! It also wasn't too short, it was still good.

Fu-chan: Nyehh... thank you. ^^; [Don't mean to sound rude or anythng... but it's really hard to read the small letters and purple ness. ^^;]

OCDUDE: I think so... XD I don't really know. It was an accident!

    Grovyle42(Griff4815): It stands for 'it is' in Japanese. There's an odd reason why Ichigo says it, and you have to keep reading to find out why. ^^;

Chapter four at last. I know it's in past tense now, but it's because it's a flashback. Please enjoy...

    Chapter 4
    The Blue Orb

    - Flashback -

She was only eleven years old. There, standing in an eerie grey fog graveyard full of dead Pokemons' graves, stood Ichigo holding the one powerful orb able to control Kyogre. She looked at the swirling figures swimming around with amazed eyes. Not a Buizel nor a Pachirisu were with at her side. The only presence around her were the invisible haunting spirits of Pokemon and the terrifying cries Honchcrow and Murcrow in the nearby willow trees. The surrounding atmosphere was deep and grey, making it hard to make out objects far away. There was a strange rancid smell floating around graveyard as the cool breeze blew along. Depressing as her surroundings were, Ichigo, however, was not afraid. It was the last thing on her mind at the moment while holding the blue sphere in her hand. She didn't seem to care that she was alone, surrounded by death; almost as if it was hypnotizing her.

Shaking with enthusiasm, she suddenly jerked and and blinked again, looking around through the fog. For the passed few minutes, she was staring into that blue orb like a lifeless zombie, breathing but not blinking. She snapped out her motionlessness and looked at all the graves, now remembering she's supposed to be scared. She whimpered as she blindly backs up. She bumps into a something large, quickly she turned around to it to see a rat-shaped statue over the grave with its razor fangs pointed towards her. By only taking one glance at it, she started to panic, scream and run to nowhere. At a place like this, unless there is nothing there to distract her, Ichigo is a very easily sacred girl. As the younger little Ichigo panicked, running around the yard with the orb in her hands, dodging graves in the ground everywhere, a male voice pierced through the gloomy atmosphere.

"Ichigo!" he called. Ichigo dropped to her knees and the orb falls to the ground.

"Aaaah! A ghost, desu!" she screamed, though her pallor was making her look much like a ghost herself. As Ichigo cowered in fear with her hands over her head and the orb by her neck, two human figures emerge from the fog – a male and a female.

"Ichigo! What're you doing?" asked the male voice. He bent down to the girl in pain and took the blue orb in one hand and touched her shoulder with the other. Ichigo tried calming down after hearing his voice and recognizing it.

Breathing heavily, she whispered: "Tate...?" and kept her eyes closed. Tate sighed.

"Ichigo, get up. There are no ghosts here..." he stood up with the shivering Ichigo clinging to his feet and holding the blue orb in his had.

~Tate and his identical sister Liza, own the Pokemon Gym in Mossdeep City, Hoenn. Pokemon Gyms are almost like Contests, but instead of the Grand Festival, trainers compete for the Pokemon League. They need eight badges from all the gym leaders in their rigion in order to attend. Trainers enter the gym and battle the gym leader–or in Tate and Liza's case, gym leaders –for badges instead of ribbons. The battles are time-limitless and can go on longer than five minutes until one side loses. Most Gym leaders use a three on three challenge, but in Liza and Tate's style, they use four Pokemon; two pairs of Pokemon for double battles.

Liza and Tate, the two identical siblings look so alike, if Tate didn't talk, people would often mistake him for a girl. Like his sister, he wears his dark blue hair in a ponytail with a frilly white bow. The only difference between their hair styles is Liza's longer hair. The two wear identical clothes as well, a light blue long sleeve shirt and long blue pants, almost looking like pajamas.

The twins and Ichigo used to hang out together on Mossdeep when Ichigo lived there. On this day, Liza and Tate took Ichigo on their boat to go Wailmer watching out in the sea for fun. Their fun disappeared when Liza spotted a strange helicopter headed towards west of Lilycove, a neighbor island to Mossdeep. That moment, she knew the helicopter belonged to a bunch of thugs called Team Aqua. She knew that Team Aqua was going to Mt. Pyre–a place not too far from Lilycove–to steal one of the two orbs. The three got there a little late to stop them, as soon as they arrived, a big, bulky, powerful hyena Pokemon, Mightyena, jumped down from the mountains with a blue orb in its mouth. It dropped the orb from the bump of the jump and lost itself in the thick fog. Ichigo was separated from the twins while they were stuck with the Mightyena. Ichigo found the orb at her feet and realized what it was as soon as she saw it.~

Still cowering in fear, Ichigo whimpered: "Tate..."
Slowly opening her eyes and moving her legs, she got up and sat kneeling near Tate's feet and looked up to him with an innocent face.

"I thought I heard a ghost, desu," she said quietly to him. Tate groaned and replied:

"That was no ghost Ichigo, that was me calling your name!"
Relieved, Ichigo smiled and giggled a little. She got off her feet and brushed her grass stained jeans and looked around for the ord at her feet.

"I'm afraid of ghosts, desu..." she said, chuckling nervously. "They're so creepy and mysterious. I never saw one, but if I ever did, I bet I would..."
"Okay, Ichigo!" yelled Tate. His voice sent echos through the mountains. He grabbed Ichigo's hands with one of his and looked into her eyes. Sparking like rubies they were, she looked back into his eyes with her face turning red. Tate kept staring with a serious look while holding the orb in his other hand. The more the two stared at each other, the more Ichigo got nervous and her eye twitched.

"Ichigo," Tate was saying. "I need to ask you something very important." Ichigo's knees started to spaz and she faintly started to fall over. Tate groans and pushes her back up with his shoulder.

"Urgh, you freaking..." mumbled Tate. Ichigo looked up to him with another innocent face, this time burning red, and replied with her eyes sparkling:

"Yes, I'll go on a date with you, desu."

"WHAT?!" yelled Tate. "NO! I mean... here!" he turned around and smacked the blue orb in Ichigo's open hand.

"Ow!" she cried, looking at the sphere in her palm. Tate faced away from the girl in her stupid mode, turning towards his sister Liza who had been listening and watching for the passed few seconds. He looked to her, sighed, and shook his head while pointing a gun to his head with his fingers.

"This is a risk I'm willing... well, Ichigo is ought to be taking..." quietly said Tate.

"We can trust her," Liza told him. "She's a very trustworthy friend. Sometimes..."

Before Ichigo had time to be hypnotized by the orb again, she just looked to it to see if it were real. The Blue Orb...able to control the mythical beast Kyogre, the ability to raise waters, summon storms, dangerous floods, and pouring rain. The holder of the Blue orb is able to calm and tame the monster, if lucky, even to catch it. Ichigo's dream of catching Kyogre was already in reach with the orb in her hands... all she needed to do was find a Pokeball and the Pokemon.

"Kyogre..." Ichigo said quietly, holding up the orb to her eye. Tate turned back around to Ichigo, looked to her in the eyes and said:

"Be very careful with that." He didn't care that the girl wasn't even looking at him. "That's the Blue Orb. That thing is what Team Aqua is looking for."

"This is... this is really it, desu? This is really real? Th-the Blue Orb, de...?" Ichigo asked, starting to shake of excitement.

"Yes it is Ichigo, the important thing I needed to ask you was..." Tate was saying. He paused and looked away from Ichigo's ruby eyes over to his sister again. Liza sent him a 'yes' mouthing the word. Tate sighed and looked back to Ichigo, but this time, the girl had a rather sad expression while still holding the Blue Orb to her chest. She could've been disappointed about Tate not wanting to go on a date with her.
"Can you watch this please?" asked Tate. "Can you take the orb and protect it from others while we stop Team Aqua? It's a big responsibility and all, but Liza and I think we can trust you." Ichigo's sad expression vanished instantly and turned into a very surprised one.

"Really...? I'm okay to watch this, desu?" she asked with her high pitched voice breaking.

"Yeah. We know how much you love Kyogre, and for the brief amount of time you have with this orb, you'll be closer to it than you'll probably ever be. But, it's not meant to be fooled around with. The powers it possesses could take over one's mind." explained Tate. Ichigo's wide excited eyes started to turn glassy after she heard Tate speak.

"Tate..." she whimpered. Tate watched a tear roll down Ichigo's soft cheek from her right eye. Calmly, he smiled and sighed, putting his hand on Ichigo's shoulder.

"Trust is probably the best quality you can find in a friend." he told her. "And Lady Ichigo, you are a good friend." More tears started falling from her eyes after hearing this.

"Aaah, desu!" she squealed, tackle hugging the poor Gym Leader to the ground and crying on his chest. She held a lump in her throat and replied: "You're a good friend too, desu..." Tate sat up immediately and pat Ichigo's head, and Ichigo responded back to hugging him. Tate winced the moment she hugged him, but she was very gentle. Tate slowly blushed and hugged her back, not even caring his sister was still watching.

"Aww, look how cute they are! I knew Ichigo would someday show her affections to Tate. I better not disturb them." Liza thought, showing off a big grin. "Wait..." she said out loud. "Hey, wait, I'm her friend too, I want hugs!" Liza started running towards them with her arms open for a hug. "Hey, give me some love t..."

"Migh-yaaa!" A harsh growling sound blared through the silence, the big black hyena Pokemon appeared again. It jumped in between the two huggers and Liza.

"Oh my God... Tate!" yelled Liza. Another figure appeared from the fog, a human shape.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" asked the human figure. The voice was definitely feminine, and then it was revealed she was female once she stepped out of the fog. She stepped in wearing a blue bandana on her head, blue baggy pants and a short striped shirt. Her hair was down, a light purple color, and neatly cut to her shoulders. The color of her eyes seemed to be the same color as the grey fog.

"You have something we want, don't you?" she asked in a stern voice. Tate instantly let go of Ichigo and got up to tell the woman:

"We have no idea what you're talking about."

The Aqua girl scoffs and lowers her head. "The orb fell right around here. It couldn't have gone anywhere far, my Mightyena sniffed it out." she was saying. Mightyena growled. "We know one of you twins have it, so cough it up."

Ichigo quickly got up and hid behind the two Gym Leaders while hiding the Blue Orb in her sleeves. She wiped tears away from her eyes and held the orb chose to her chest, making herself look like a innocent, scared, little girl lost in the graveyard.

Tate looked to Liza and glances to Ichigo and back.

"It's obviously not here," he said. The Aqua Lady grunts.

"What am I to do? Do I need to battle you two to get what I want?"

"Look, lady," Liza spoke up. "We all ready told you we don't have it. If we've seen it, we wouldn't lie."

"Oh, but she is lying, desu" thought Ichigo. Liza turned her head to Ichigo and gave her an angry look while holding her fingers to her lips. Ichigo had forgotten that Liza and Tate could read minds.

The Aqua girl started to grit her teeth. "Liar!" she yelled. "Kids these days, they seem to get away with everything no matter what. You should respect adults! This is serious business kids, give it here!" As the Aqua lady's voice rose, Tate kept getting more nervous.

"It's not going well..." he thought as he gulped. "Liza, should we,"

"I think so, Tate." responded Liza in her head. The two were communicating through their minds.

"Stop standing around! Aurrgh... if you're not doing what I tell you, I'm... er... Mightyena, Shadow Ball!" yelled the Aqua Girl.

"Migh!" the big dark Pokemon howled, opening its jaws and summoned a large purple ball. The ball shot straight at the ground in between the twins.

"Whoa!" Liza cried. Her and her brother jumped to opposite sides, dodging the Shadow Ball attack while a puff of dirt explodes around them. Liza landed on her hands and knees as Tate painfully landed on his right arm. He got up quickly and looked around for Ichigo through the fog and dust. Struggling to get up, he caught her with the corner of his eye and called Ichigo's name. Ichigo heard him, but she kept still like a deer in front of a car. Tate gets onto his knees, pushes himself up and runs to the eleven year old blue haired girl. Again, he put his hands on her shoulders, but Ichigo's face remained pale.

"Ichigo! Please leave now..." he said.

    "What?"

"Leave now with the Blue Orb and don't let anyone know you have it." Tate told Ichigo.

    "L-leave, desu?" whimpered Ichigo.

"Protect that orb with whatever you have. We can't let Team Aqua take it. If it's anything Team Aqua wants, it's the Blue Orb." said Tate. "Leave us now, tell the ferry driver to take you back to Mossdeep. You'll be safe there."

"But what about you and Liza, desu?" she asked sadly.

"I'm not sure... we'll stay here and fight these guys. Liza and I will find a different way back." said Tate.

"But... please be careful, desu!" Ichigo warned him. Tate let go of her and pointed to the ocean, faintly visible through the fog.

"Don't worry, just go." he informed her and turned away from her. Ichigo started to run nervously in the mist and stopped after only two steps. She looked to Tate who had looked back at her at the same time.

"Um..." she said, poking her two fingers together in her sleeves. Her face started to turn red again but she looked really worried.

"GO!" Tate yelled. Ichigo's feet responded quicker than her mind. She took off before she could say anything. Holding the Blue Orb carefully in her hands under her sleeves and yelled out:

    "I'm going! I'm going!"
