um... anything with roar/whirlwind. You may not be able to OHKO those ones because they may not give you the chance (or they use self destruct or explosion to take themselves down doing *gasp* 60 damage to my Sceptile when quick attack failed to kill them) =p

why roar and whildwind?...all that does it help you run from other pokemon

I thnk that shroomish is really good..his stats are kinnna weak until he evolved tho....but after that his atk is good..

First of all your sig is too big. You have to shrink your pictures (please read the rulebook again before the "higher mods" start picking on you).
Secondly, you said "What do you think is the strongest common wild pokemon?" not the strongest Pokemon I have. We all know that there's no such thing as a strong wild Pokemon, as even they use explosion and it cannot even knock my Sceptile to yellow. So the closest you get is one with whirlwind or roar as they'll end the battle as a stalemate.
