I realise this is most likely in the wrong place, is inappropriate and will be moved quickly, but just think about it.

Erm, I suppose I should add a point to this thread then: Have there ever been some truly deep moments in the pokemon games (gameplay wise, not storywise) that you can think of? Heck, they dont have to be deep, just intriguing and/or funny?

Lets hope this doesnt get removed straight away...

[PokeCommunity.com] Sucker Punch and Counter: self fulfilling prophecy?

You mean, you had a crazy instinct to use a move such as Sucker Punch, Counter, etc, and it actually worked and it owned? :P

Uh, I guess it happens sometimes on Shoddy and competitive battling. For example, I am a Fighting type, and I suspect my opponent to switch in a Psychic or Flying, so I use Ice Punch or maybe Stone Edge, depending on what I know they have. Prediction is fun... Although my Metagross was nailed by a lead Ttar running Counter for whatever reason. I have lost to Sucker Punch Absol too. My mind turns to mush when my opponent prepares to sweep. :P

Okay, It has come to my attention that next to nobody knows what I tried to say last night. And whilst I appreciate getting bunnies and pancakes, I feel as though I should clarify myself (I apologise for my words last night, It was late and I was tired)
    So anyway:

Have there been any moments while battling that really made you think or ponder? Or, failing that, have there ever been any truly luls-worthy moments while playing?

I hope that clears things up!

This probably doesn't count, but I was playing a hack of Pokémon Crystal the other night, it's only different feature was the fact that all 251 Pokémon were available and the levels of Pokémon were a little higher to make it more challenging, it had no other hacks to the storyline or anything.

Well, I was innocently grinding up my Cyndaquil on the first route, when suddenly night time struck, this of course made me happy because I love Hoothoot and this was my chance to catch one. Well, first encounter happened and I was ready to attack this poor defenceless level 7 Hoothoot when suddenly... A level 60 Charizard appeared out of no where! I was so shocked I actually gave a little scream. Of course, I lost and whited out, and never encountered the Charizard again, but it left me slightly fearful of early routes in the dark.

    Boo to bad hacking!

Sometimes I feel pity for these poor creatures who are made to battle it out all their lives. But that's about it :)
