    What are your favorite things about summer? What are things you hate about summer? Do you enjoy the hot sun, or are you the type who stays indoors with a blasting air conditioner?

    For me, I hate summer. Though, I do like being able to go swimming. I do prefer being indoors during the summer. I just can't STAND the sweltering heat. I live in Arizona, and the heat here is like being in an oven. It gets so hot that you could fry an egg on the sidewalk. DX I was raised in the colder weather so sue me.
     
    The best part of summer is sitting in the sun by the pool on a hot day. That and barbeques mmm <3
     
    The weather down here gets pretty hot, but Australia is a country that enjoys cooling down so we often have tons of ways to stay cool. I just like to settle for a bit of good old water on the face. Ironically it's winter down here right now, but you should know we are an opposite world in terms of climate.
     
    The wasps come out to play, and I fucking hate wasps. Not to mention spiders and snakes, and the fact that walking on concrete past 9am will blister your unprotected feet.

    But then again, Christmas, barbecues, no school and ice cream. Hmm...
     
    I love the fact that the days are longer and the sun is out more. I always feel more energised and in a better mood when the sun is out. Going to the beach, swimming, eating ice cream and just chilling with friends are the highlights of my summer.

    *waits patiently for winter to end*
     
    summer is my favorite thing ever. the lack of commitment and schoolwork is totally heavenly, and I love hot weather, and even moreso I love summer nights. and thunderstorms. summer is my shit.

    oh, and I forgot to mention -- next week is finals week for me, so it's technically not really summer yet for me, which is annoying. alas.
     
    School ends this Tuesday, but I never do anything fun or exciting. Throughout the whole year really. Also I HATE the summer. It's too hot, and I hate the heat. Love winter vacation, because snow and Christmas :v
     
    I can describe my summers with about 5 words:
    Heat
    Pain
    Boredom
    Illegal plant
    Relaxed

    In that order
     
    I prefer staying indoors as well, where it is nice and cool. I dont like the outside a whole lot, although it is nice sometimes. I prefer dark and rainy whether because I think it looks pretty. However, I do enjoy going to the pool with my friends sometimes.
     
    Summer sucks for my job since I work in a warehouse, so I'm not as big of a fan of summer as I used to be, especially since I can't take day trips to the beach except for on weekends when it's more crowded. Still, I do enjoy the beach and swimming when I can, so summer is good to me.
     
    I do not enjoy summer, mostly due to the fact the kids get out of school between July and September, which means my job becomes a nightmare.

    The warmer weather is good, just a shame I tend not to be able to enjoy it.
     
    going on vacations!! cook outs, camping, swimming, warm summer nights sitting out with friends, campfires, taking walks in the woods, seeing all the forms of nature around me, tanning, and literally just being able to do anything outside
