Just for the record "BRAWL" is extremely addicting. Snake is awesome. He OWNS.

okay, now to my bickering.... I can sum it up with this drawing I made out of rage...

[PokeCommunity.com] Super Smash Bros. Brawl - The Disappointment within

Funny how the SSB team took out all the Melee Clones (Pichu, Young Link, Roy, etc.), but actually ADDED a CLONE of MEWTWO into Brawl! Were they high at this point? Were they taking some sort of pills? I used to use Mewtwo in Melee almost extensively, and now I actually enjoy beating up Lucario and his ugly shorts (yes, the thing WEARS SHORTS!) because of this pure evil. It's tragic, really tragic. I'll be referring Lucario as "The Mewtwo-clone" for all future SSBB-talk. What nerve.

Alot of 4th gen fans love Lucario, weird I know. In my opinion Pke trainer replaces pichu, toon link replaces young link and Ike replaces Roy. They still have Luigi - kinda Mario clone, same as Wario. Zero Suit Samus, well they might not has the same moves but they still clones imo :P

    Lucario got owned.

I'm angry that Pichu, Mewtwo, Roy, Dr.Mario, and OOT Young Link got removed.
Why couldn't they've just brought back the Young Link from Melee and given Toon Link an ORIGNAL MOVESET? ffs

Lucario isn't really a clone of Mewtwo, much like how Wolf isn't too much of a clone of Fox. A few of Ike's moves are different from Roy's. (but they still have the same standard and down special moves, not to mention TEH PHIRE!!!)
Lucario's Arua Sphere might be similar to Mewtwo's Shadow Ball, but the rest of his moves are quite different. (his Double Team is more of a clone of Counter)
Mewtwo was awesome though. I didn't expect him to be removed.

Well, at least we can hope that they'll return in a 4th SSB game! *shot*

I disagree, Lucario isnt mewtwo, they are different characters and their moves are different. Ill give you the aura sphere factor.

Lucario's the new age for brawl, Now mewtwo and Lucario both move differently, have different moves and fighting styles, different throws, different B moves... I think you heard that Mewtwo was replaced by Mewtwo, and you heard wrong. Mewtwo was cut and Lucario was added, there was no replacing.

I think lucario is a great character in brawl and if played correctly, deadly. Lucario gets better with more damage, even better, Once he takes over 150% damage he's dangerous.

So Ill say I disagree. Lucario isnt Mewtwo, if he was, why is the name lucario there instead of mewtwo.

Also, even though im against the arguement, I must say that's one great drawing great work and excellently done ;D

I think it's better to have Lucario. Since lots of people like Lucario you better have it in game so lots of people will buy it. Lol different reason

well you never know they can be realsing downloadable content( from what I hear)

Pretty unlikely however, considering Nintendo usually doesn't do downloadable content, and that the Wii isn't the greatest console for such a thing. I think it will just stay at 35.

Lucario isn't the same as Mewtwo - only the B move is somewhat similar, and it has a different property anyway (gets stronger the weaker Lucario gets). Mewtwo... well it wasn't the most loved Smash character, to say the least. IMO he was ok, but kinda meh, and certainly weaker than other characters. But Lucario is pretty far from being a clone of Mewtwo...

To sum up - I disagree with your argument (and after all, it's Sakurai's choice, not fans' choices), but like the picture (only it isn't displaying anymore...)

I hate that people are so angry that Mewtwo was cut.

Over at Smashboards, people almost never talked about Mewtwo untill he was cut on Brawl.

    Funny thing -.-

Well i have to say that this game is awsome first of all. im almost done with the subspace emissary thing.

Well the only reason they added lucario is because it was in the fourth generation. since mew2 was the 1st they thought adding a newer pokemon to their roster would be better. but i agree i loved mew2 and used him most of the time. he was one of my faves in melee

Normally, clones aren't "exactly" the same. Young Link wasn't "exactly" the same that Link is
Lucario almost has the same airy animation Mewtwo has, and, while modified to have better moves,
    it's really just a Mewtwo in a shorts-wearing blue-weirdo shell.

Mewtwo... well it wasn't the most loved Smash character, to say the least
    One word... Jigglypuff.

First off, Lucario only has one move "similer" to that of mewtoo.

Secondly, everyone knows yoshi's the man in SSBB.

And thirdly, jigglypuff is good, if you know how to use her.

Im a 4th Gen fan, but my love is still for Pikachu, who by the way is my favourite in Brawl (next to Yoshi).

Solid Snake owns Brawl. Snake and Sonic... awesome dudes.

Let's just all face the truth: it was a bad call. Mewtwo should have stayed, Jigglypuff should have been replaced.

This is really just like comparing the Special DVD Edition of "Return of the Jedi" to the original, where they replaced Robert Shaw with Hayden Christensen.

Unfortunately in Pokemon-fandom, it's the other way around. We're always celebrating the "new"...

Do you mean if Brawl only had 4 Pokemon characters?

I have gotten a little sick of the Jigglypuff and Pichu hate among smashers. ("let's use Pichu as a replacement for the Sandbag! Nah, let's use Tingle instead.")
No character should've been replaced in my opnion. :) (I'm such a n00b)

Well, at least Blaziken didn't get in.

Even though I do enjoy Lucario's presence, I'd trade him in a heart beat to get good ol' Mewtwo back. Seriously, I just want see how Mewtwo looks in the SSBB graphics, because all the other Pokemon look incredible.

I'm down for using Tingle as the new Sandbag

I am angry they removed Mewtwo, and that Ridley isn't a playable character (he was the 2nd most requested to be a playable character) but no they made him a boss... At least they kept Ganondorf...

I like Lucario better than mewtwo because he moves faster, has better moves and good jumping.

I'm aggrivated now. When will people learn that clone means they are exactly the same beside the look of the moves and character?
Luigi =/= Mario. Luigi is much different. He's got Green Missle, Super Jump Punch with an added fall, Luigi Cyclone, and Negative Zone. That leaves only one move the same as Mario.

Wario =/= Mario. How could you even think him as a clone?

Lucario =/= Mewtwo. The only considerable common ground is Aura Sphere and Shadow Ball. You can't call them a clone if they're not even close to being alike!

Falco =/= Fox. Falco's Blaster is slow and stronger, his Reflector shoots out instead of in place, and his Landmaster floats allot higher. This is the only close to clone.

Wolf =/= Fox. Wolf's Blaster is slower, stronger, and shorter distanced, his over and B is diagonal instead of straight, his up and B is spiral and hits multiple times, his reflector shoots back at 200% of speed as normal, and his Landmaster is stronger and faster and lasts less.

Lucas =/= Ness. PK Freeze, PK Thunder goes through instead of stopping, PK Fire slants, his reflector absorbs damage and heals, and his PK Starstorm goes straight.

Ganondorf =/= Captain Falcon. Slower, stronger, his choke (Gerudo Dragon), and his final smash.

Toon Link =/= Link. Much faster, arrows are slower but can be turned, boomerang has no wind, bombs takes less time to explode and have a wider explosion range, and his final smash is short ranged and slashes in a circular pattern.

Does that inform you people what a clone is?

Lucario is extremely different. There's nothing you can change, Brawl is out, and there won't be DLC. Sakurai confirmed it, and the fact the Wii's internal hard-drive won't have enough memory. Lucario's in because D/P is in. They're advertising the game and the fact is - the younger audience don't know what Mewtwo is. Mewtwo got a trophy, so be satisfied with the cameo.

    THANK. YOU. I totally agree.

Pichu =/= Pikachu. Harder to hit, up B does no damage, faster, hurts self, charged Skull Bash does more damage.
Roy =/= Marth. Heavier, powerful, B move does self damage if charged up, has teh phire.
Dr.Mario =/= Mario. Heavier, Dr.Tornado fuctions differently, Megavitamins more powerful than Fireballs.

...Just filling in the Melee roster.

Most people say that there are no "clones" anymore; the clones have been "Luigified" :|
    Each character is unique.
