My team of toughness has served me well in the past. The problem is, I have only had two opponents, so I can't say just how good or bad my team is. If you have the time, please rate my team. I've gathered this group of heroes through Sapphire, Leaf Green, and now Emerald. Each one is level 100, and has been raised to the best of my abilities. Another note of interest, my friends and I made a pact to never use any legendaries. Keep that in mind as you rate!

    Manectric (Sparky) [Ability: Static]
    Nature: Bashful
    Item: Magnet
    Thunderbolt
    Crunch
    Iron Tail
Thunder (want to change, but can't think of anything)

    Tyranitar (Doom) [Ability: Sand Stream]
    Nature: Adamant
    Item: Black Glasses
    Crunch
    Earthquake
    Flamethrower
    Brick Break

    Rhydon (Tank) [Ability: Rock Head]
    Nature: Adamant
    Item: Leftovers
    Double-Edge
    Earthquake
    Megahorn
    Brick Break

    Swampert (Neptune) [Ability: Torrent]
    Nature: Lax
    Item: Mystic Water
    Ice Beam
    Earthquake
    Toxic
    Surf

    Ludicolo (Lilly) [Ability: Rain Dish]
    Nature: Naughty
    Item: Miracle Seed
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Giga Drain
Solar Beam (Want to change, but again, I can't think of anything.)

    Blaziken (Fire Star) [Ability: Blaze]
    Nature: Lax
    Item: Charcoal
    Flamethrower
    Rock Tomb
    Sky Uppercut
    Earthquake

Each of these Pokemon were hand-raised (No Rare Candies here) by me, and have been taught the best moves I could think of. Comments and suggestions will be happily noted.

Suggestions in Bold. Blaziken moveset works--I use it.

I'm just curious, but why Blaze Kick over Flamethrower? Flamethrower is plenty accurate, and has a nice power. Isn't Blaze Kick a little weaker?

It's a matter of taste. Flamethrower trumps Blaze Kick in Power (by 10) and Accuracy (By 15, I think) and has the added advantage of being a ranged attack (i.e. Static, Poison Point etc. have no effect) but Blaze Kick has a high critical hit ratio and (I think) a higher burn ratio. Rain Dance is a must for Ludicolo since it allows it to use it's special ability (In this case, recover 1/16 of maximum HP each turn) and grants it an adittional edge against fire types. I prefer Swift Swimmers for my Ludicolos (+10% Speed in rain) but I doubt that you're going to raise a new one at this point. I'd suggest giving it Leftovers to maximize it's HP recovering capability.

For Blaziken I'd say Earthquake is Pretty unnecessary since Sky Uppercut takes care of Rock types and Rock Tomb (Might be a good idea to replace it with Rock Slide by the way) takes care of Fire types (Electrics aren't that much of a hazard imo), try putting in a support move like Substitute, Endure, or Focus Energy instead since all out attackers are bound to get their posteriors handed to them by counter attackers (E.g. Wobbuffet).

For Manectric I'd suggest trying this:

    Item: Leftovers/Shell Bell
    Crunch
    Hidden Power [Water]
Thunder (It gets 100% accuracy when it rains)
Rain Dance (Boosts Hidden Power's damage and Thunder's Accuracy)

Or for a less weather dependent one:

    Item: Leftovers/Shell Bell

    Crunch
    Hidden Power [Water/Grass/Ice]
    Thunderbolt
    Attract/Thunder Wave

The hidden power type of a Pok?mon is randomly decided (I think), so save before testing. Generally, I'd suggest steering away from physical (Normal, Rock, Ground, Steel, Ghost, Fighting, or Flying type) attacks with Mantectric since its Sp. Attack is far supperior to its Attack.

    For Rhydon, maybe:

    Item: King's Rock/Focus Band
Double Edge (To make use of its Special Ability)
Rock Slide (STAB Damage and Flinching)
Earthquake (STAB again, also complements the other moves nicely)
Counter (For massive returned damage against Earthquakers and the like)

For Svampert I'd prefer to have Mirror Coat instead of Toxic, but it's an egg move so I'd say leave Svampert as it is.

    And finally Tyranitar:

    Item:Scope Lens/Leftovers
Earthquake (Steel types are a potential hazard)
Aerial Ace/Hidden Power [Flying] (To counter fighting types)
Rock Slide (STAB, good against fliers)
    Thunder Wave

Dragon Dance would be a better choice for the last move but it can only be gained through breeding. Generally, I'd say that it's a good idea to keep at least one move that doesn't do direct damage in each moveset so you won't get svamped by counter attackers.

    Tyranitar (Doom) [Ability: Sand Stream]
    Nature: Adamant
    Item: Black Glasses
    Crunch
    Earthquake
    Flamethrower
    Brick Break

consider dragon dance over crunch, and you need rockslide over brick break.

    also boah could be useful

    t-tar@lefties
    sub
    bolt
    FP
    crunch

    Swords Dance

    Earthquake

    Or:

    Blaziken@Lefties
    Nature: Adamant/Lonely (if using Overheat)
    Substitute
    Reversal
    Earthquake
    Rock Slide/Overheat

    Alter Ego:

    Flamethrower:

    Blazekick:
    Accuracy:90 Power:85 PP:10, High Critical hit ratio

    Hope this helps!

Most of these things I'm sure are nice, but I really don't want to raise an entirely new one of a Pokemon for its nature and such. If I have the time (very rainy day or something.), I probably will search for/raise Pokemon with those natures. The moves, however, I will take heed of. A lot of my team have movesets I'm not too impressed with.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'm really appreciating all of your guys' help. Maybe now I'll be able to get a symbol in the Battle Frontier.

    IMO, needs more Magneton.
    Crunch
    TB
    TW
    HP Ice/Grass
BTW- type-boosting moves are hella lame. Lefties, King's Rock, Shell Bell>magnet

    DD Tar>BOAH esp. w/ Adamant.

Brick Break needs to be Rock Slide/Blast (blast breaks subs, slide has better accuracy... take your pick) since you already have all the types BB would be SE against... except normal types. Earthquake already does the same base damage to Normal types. Keep DE for anything that resists the lot of moves you have.

Needs Lefties to make it survive more well.

    Ludicolo (Lilly) [Ability: Rain Dish]
    Nature: Naughty
    Item: Miracle Seed
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Giga Drain
Solar Beam (Want to change, but again, I can't think of anything.)[/quote]
    SB=Rain Dance
    GD=Leech Seed
    Miracle Seed=Lefties

    Item: Charcoal
    Flamethrower
    Rock Tomb
    Sky Uppercut
    Earthquake
    Rock Tomb=Rock Slide
FT=Overheat... use against high Def guys, physical resistant guys, or as a semi-explosion.
You can also add Swords Dance or Endure/Reversal somewhere in there.

Some of your natures are pretty bad... Eg: Lax. Your hold items can be changed to anything that isn't what they are now... Lefties, stat-berries, Shell Bell, Choice Band (nods at blaziken), maybe even a scope lens or king's rock would do.

I'm just curious, what does BOAH stand for? (I'm reeaally new here, so you'll have to dumb that one down for me.)

really i don't know, i think chaos and jumpman just made up that name, and it stuck :)

    Great moves!

Overall, I would rate it a 8/10. Its a good set of moves, but probably a team I wouldn't choose.

    But still, its amazing!
