Dear all,

My name is Jackson, and I am attempting to make a new team, for Pokemon Rom Hacking. Team Nova will be a large group of members, that are good at ROM Hacking, Scripting, Creating Tools, and people that can come up with creative and good ideas.

Team Nova's first ROM Hack with be PokeNova.
PokeNova will have many separate series, such as:
PokeNova: The Mysteries of Aldemain.

PokeNova will have brand new maps, custom create, with custom names.

We will most likely be using all Pokemon ROMs, as in Fire Red, Emerald, Ruby, Red, etc. By all, I mean just one of two e.g:
Fire Red, but not Fire Red and Leaf Green because they are far too alike.
This can be discussed.

_____________________Special Features
​

Instead of running, your player/sprite will skate. Note that your player will still have the ability to ride a bike, if he obtains one.

As mentioned, PokeNova will have Custom Maps, Custom Towns, Custom Map Name, and Custom Town names.

PokeNova MIGHT have the ability to be able to change your players gender, in case you wish to change your mind along your journey. There will be a person you talk to around mid-game, and he will ask if you would like to change your gender.

Adding more special features soon.

my experinses in hacking is ok. i hvae mostly worked on X( otherwise known as diffculty increasing) hacks, and remap hacks. i can really help with Tranier Editing, Spriting, OW sprites, Mapping, ans Storyline.

I am not very good at developing games (as i have just started) but I will make a storyline, town names prof. name, naming the region, and any other non programming needs but I would like to learn programming so any teaching would be great!

Very nice sprites I saw.
I wouldn't mind if you could sprite me a good player, and work with Guichard11 and Ryan174 with a good storyline, that would be great. Once you finished getting a good storyline, contact me again and tell me it. That would be great.

Did you see mine and guinchards conv about creating a new Fire/bug legandry for the story to center around.
I thaught mabye we could have like a dark/steel fox thing to. and one is on the brink to destorying the world so you must clooect relics( wich will replace gym badges) in order to awaken the god of tranquillty( peace)! this could be a basic Plot Point.

Does anyone agree with this?

(first of all is the fire/bug legendary fire AND bug or fire OR bug?)(same goes with teh steel/dark thing too)

anyways i have an idea on how you can introduce teh legendarys in teh story:

the town professor has an exploration team exploring for a newly discovered legendary (the fire/bug type) and they ask you to go with them so they give you a choice of pokemon to take with you (starter) so this exploration comes to a cave where an evil team also are looking for that legendary to contol so after you run into a grunt and battle (win) then the leader of the team will challenge you trying to keep you away (you will lose this battle) after the battle the fire/bug legendary appears and the evil team goes after it right away but the legendary starts acting crazy and and earthquake happens the fire/bug legendary leaves causing climate problems everywhere signaling the end of teh world so as you leave the cave the steel/dark type fox appears and kinda talks to you (like how metwo could or lucario) and tells you a legend of the relics that stop the world from the brink of destruction in the past and tells you the only way to save the world is coolecting the relics

(which startsthe relic search)

and thats it...and btw will these relics have their own element?(like the fire relic which can be found in a volcano or something or the water relic which is under a lake or mabye the earth relic which is underground or stuff like that?)

lolz ye there both dual types.
Very good story to easy way to intrduce them.
And the relics were kinda like that, and threr is a powerful tranier protecting them from evila nd after you beat them they see that you are the "chosen" to stop the end of the world and give them to you.

Also i think that we should try to incorate the majorty of the story happing on the islands( if were using them -.-) we could make them accasible much earlier by giving simply re warping the maps of blane and Lt.surge( we switch them)! then allow the rainbow pass to be availble after you Complete 7 badges( the usal Climax)!

So this exploration comes to a cave where an evil team also are looking for that legendary to control. After you run into a grunt and battle and defeat them, the the leader of the team will challenge you trying to keep you away, which will be a tough fight. After the battle, the fire/bug legendary appears, and the evil team goes after it right away but the legendary starts acting crazy and and earthquake happens.

The fire/bug legendary leaves causing climate problems everywhere signaling the end of the world so as you leave the cave the steel/dark type fox appears and talks to you (like how Mewtwo could or Lucario) and tells you a legend of the relics that stop the world from the brink of destruction in the past and tells you the only way to save the world is collecting relics.

Yeah, I also have a special idea for the ROM, but nobody will know about it until the ROM is released. Not even any other staff but me! :O
