    I picked Piplup as my starter (doesn't everyone?) and I don't have a fire type Pokemon on my team. Would Ponyta be a good fire type, as I believe I am in the area to catch one (The Bike Path, below)? Or should I do something else? If I could set up wi-fi for my DS I would see what I could trade on GTS, but unless there is a magical setting on the Wii to connect a DS to its internet, I can't.
     
    well, ponyta is your only choice for now, seing as its the only one besides chimchar,

    curse gamefreak making almost no fire types!
     
    Umm, yeah. Also, my team is as follows:

    Prinplup Lv21:
    Pound
    Metal Claw
    Bubble
    Peck

    Budew Lv21:
    Mega Drain
    Cut
    Grass Knot
    Stun Spore

    Luxio Lv21:
    Tackle
    Spark
    Charge
    Bite

    Staravia Lv22:
    Quick Attack
    Double Team
    Wing Attack
    Endeavor

    Any suggestions as to levels, movesets (not that I have many choices), or the Pokemon in my team? I just beat every trainer on the bike path and am continuing on. I'll catch a Ponyta, and get its level up.
    When will my Budew evolve?! >.<
     
    If only, if only. (Hm... where is my other Diamond and my Pearl!? Grrr.)
     
    in-game is easy. doesn't matter what movesets you choose, as long as they can still help you win. ponyta is your best bet for a fire type since you chose piplup
     
    Ok! How to teach only splash to all my pokemon... hmm... ^.~
    What should sixth pokemon eventually be? (Or my team in general?)

    or maybe when u trade it he stays liek that
    but theres an easter egg in the game
    like it adds the the pokedex
    or u gain a certain item and a new mini story line opens
    cuz i think only 11 or 10 percent of the game cart is used
