3rd Gen thanks toothache HEAPS!! (and a bit bout pokerus)

ok first off i want to say that moving is a real pain in the but...that being said onto the post :P ....


on the 26th nov i posted in this forum that i was hunting for a good training location to race my team to level 100. amongst the suggestions was one by Toothache and he said keep doing the 6 trainers (or was it 5? cant remember) that are just outside of the pokemon day care center in R/S.

after about 100 trys all up i finally got the suprise of my life....I GOT THE POKERUS!!! thats right i got it from a trainer battle as i had given up training on wild pokemon.

so now ive been EV training my pokemon tower teams for both Ruby and Fr.

now i have also found out something that is a bit disressing IMHO. if you trade a pokemon witht he pokerus to another cartride it will NOT spread to any of the pokemon that that trainer catches or has caught.

i have trialed this for over 3 hours of battling with my Salamance from Ruby in Fr that has the pokerus. it has NEVER passed onto any of the Fr native pokemon at all but if i put him in the box he stays infected as usual.

im just pointing this out to people so that they know.

Err... I think this needs to be closed. Basically, you could have put that info in the PokeRus thread and PMd Toothy. I'm sure Toothy'll appreciate that his work has paid off but a PM would have been better. ^_^
