The Academy Awards

Well, halfway through the show I knew There Will be Blood would only have the shot for best director, but then the Coen bros. won that... Best movie had to be for them already, soo...

I was particularly happy with Bardem winning male supporting role and we all knew Daniel Day-Lewis would have best actor. Not precisely Tilda Swinton's #1 fan, but I *think* she did deserve that one (best actress in a supporting role). I was happy for Marion C. when she won best actress... I think it was her first nomination too.

About the ones I wasn't really fond of would be the Golden Compass for special effects, I didn't think those were that impressive...

Oh, and Ratatouille!!! I'm very happy it won best animated.
