Note about the poll: My vote was supposed to be "No, there is nothing like a few good laughs." but the mouse slipped while clicking the option... my bad :P
There are many things that the Chaser's get up to, but there are two things that really got my attention. (these all happened last year)
Note: the show is rated M15+. If you can't read the 15+ part then I warned you
APEC charges dropped!
This morning I was listening to the Radio, I was amazed that all of the charges put towards the crew from the show "The Chaser's War on Everything" were dropped. I was curious so i read a bit more of it from this article found here.
It says in the article that "Mr Cowdery said police had offered tacit permission for the team to enter the secure zone by waving their motorcade through the checkpoints." Police gave them permission for them to enter! That I can believe to a certain point. But...
A) Was Canada even in the APEC summit?
B) The police that were checking the checkpoints even doing their job or were they just a "Guard of honor" as quoted from "The Chaser's War on Everything" show.
C) What would have happened if it was a terrorist group who did this? They could've assassinated all of the Countries leaders in one day.
Though it was funny it is also very stupid for the Chaser's to go through with it, not only putting the show in jeopardy, but the entire ABC channel.
The Eulogy Song
The Eulogy Song... one of the worlds most "infamous" songs ever done by the Chaser's. Some people like me found it humorous but also I found it Disturbing and Depressing. They took that too far, teasing people like Steve Erwin and Sir Donald Bradman. If you haven't heard the song yet, then I suggest that the more mature people listen to it. An article about it can be found here.
The song describes how certain types of people "turn into top blokes after death."
There are more, but these are the ones that stand out the most.
Now the big question... should the show go on or should it be axed.
I say let it go on, there is nothing like a good dose of stupid humor.
