kekeke. :D

I think they were stupid and I just talked really suave and like I knew what I was saying. Something along the lines of "Well, you know, technically fish are plants, they absorb nutrients through sunlight and don't directly make use of air itself."

And the person basically looked at me like "I want to say that's wrong, but dammit I don't know enough about it to be certain" ...of course I just pulled all of that out of my backside and then the person came up to me an hour later after class and called me on my "facts". :D
lol XD

Just a question, you seem to have either the first or second highest post count on the forum, how long did it take you to do that? I mean I know you weren't very active this year or last year because you didn't make that many posts.

Ah, basically all came from when I was active, and since the last time I was really active was in early 2007, you can imagine just how much I posted in my day. I don't even think I've mad 1,000 posts since then. XD; At the height of my posting sprees, I could easily pull off a good 300 posts a day. So basically, about three years? Something like that.

Been trying to get active again lately since nostalgia and an interest in PC has come back to me.

Same with me. I've been only on for a month this year and I've already made over 4,000 posts in that time XD

God you people make me feel so old. XD; I think I'm lucky if I can pull of 20 posts in a day these days, not that I mind, posting is posting and it feels nice to be active again.

Yea, I don't really care for post counts though. I post when I want to or when I'm bored. I don't come on here during the school year and I might not even be able to come on next summer due to the sheer amount of work I have to do.

Haha, same, well about post count. I always seem to make time to be online despite any amount of work I might have.

Well last year for school I was in Government club, swimming, basketball, football, wrestling, Trivia club, tennis club and soccer.

And next summer I'm getting a job, going to volunteer work, drive, HW, projects, college classes.

Ooh boy that does sound rather active, all I really had last year was my [failed] attempt at starting a club in school and...that's about it! It was my first year of college and I feared it would eat up all my time, but it really didn't.

I'm dreading college. I'm scared I won't do good.

Ah, it's not too bad, especially in the first year. For me, every time I enter a new school level, I'm always told it will be worlds harder, but...that's simply not true. At least not for me. There might be one or two classes that make you want to pull your hair out and write profanity on your teacher's car, but otherwise, it's a pretty chill time. Teachers tend to be awesome, the students are nice, and the general experience of it all is really great. As long as you manage your time well, it won't overwhelm you at all. I usually just dedicate one hour a night to studying and I'm good, maybe two hours during tests.

Kind of like how all through elementary and middle school here they kept saying you'll have to use cursive everywhere.

You know how many times I use it other than to sign my name on bank statements? None.

Haha, I honestly don't even remember how to spell in cursive, I can only do that for my name because it's become a habit for official documents. I also never really got why we have to sign documents in cursive, I almost never have the same signature.

This.

I have chicken scratch writing already, so putting it in illegible cursive will render it nearly unreadable.

Haha, same for me and it sucks. XD; I really do hate how my writing looks in print form, I used to think that cursive would give me an excuse to be messy cause I could never read other people's cursive at times...but I found out that it's pretty easy to make cursive look like hell.

I need to learn how to do cursive again. Even with my name I make it almost unreadable D:

I knew how to do it great in ~2-4th grade because we had notebooks we wrote in to become better. My god, my writing was terrible. Even writing one letter 25 times back then strained my (left) wrist beyond belief. And my uncle is crazy, he actually tried to make me right handed because right handed people are apparently more successful. :/

I wanted to prove him wrong so bad, but he didn't know much English and I didn't know how to speak much Albanian. Language barriers :(

I can write in cursive, but I have trouble reading it sometimes.
