    Ok, here is it, I think this is the thread what enables members to share their knowledge about the happennings and the science of our world...

    Rules:

    I will be the one who is going to post first the infos. Then you can post the comments or suggestions. When we have sufficient comment, I or you can post your infos next. I think 5 infos is the max.

    All infos must begin with "Did you know"

    Ok I'll start.

    1. Did you know that those graceful March Madness layups and 3-pointers can rack up more than NCAA scoreboard points? New research shows that college basketball and football winners indirectly boost the number of student applicants to their campuses.
    The new study, to be detailed in a forthcoming issue of the Southern Economic Journal, backs up this thinking with science.

    2.Did you know that A sled dog's thick fur coat may do more than protect it from inclement weather: Scientists say it can be used to detect mercury contamination in the environment — and possibly even in humans.
