Hello! This is story number two from Plasma. I'm taking a break from TSOC because I just came up with a wildly great idea. Okay, here's a prelude...

    Prelude: Age of Perfection?
The Pokemon world is bursting with great things to do. One can train at gyms, find Pokemon out in the routes and caves, and mingle with the natives at the many towns and cities. It's a happy age, many years after Ash Ketchum and company began their adventures. The gang is in their 50's now, and I happen to be the daughter of one of their members, Brock Stone.

My name is Amethyst Stone, but most call me Amy. I am 15 years old, with hair as purple as amethyst itself, sparkling sapphire eyes, and a tall, thin look. I'm about 6'5", which some consider impossible. I'm not going to tell you my weight, because I'm a woman, after all. People even say I look like a gemstone, and that I'm just as beautiful. That's enough of a history lesson, though; let me tell you about the 'freak laws.' They went into effect 6 months ago...

Pokemon that have the ability to speak English are known as freaks. Also, any human happening to be part Pokemon is a freak as well. None of the half-human, half-Pokemon have been found, but plenty of talking Pokemon exist in these days. Most were born with the ability, but some are the creations of Team Rocket. Some say a few were even human at one point. That aside, here are the 'freak laws' I was talking about:

    -----The Freak Laws-----
By J.L.K. (I don't know who this is, but I think it may be a former member of Team Rocket...)

The following rules will apply in all areas of the world, excluding the Orange Islands:
    1. No freaks may be owned by a trainer. Any trainer caught with a freak in their possession will be arrested, fined, and jailed.
    2. Freaks may not enter city grounds. Violators will be chastised appropriately.
    3. The freaks may not communicate with normal humans. Attempts to do so will invoke serious reprimanding.
    4. A freak is always at fault when involved in an altercation with humans.
    5. Last, but not least, any half-human, half-Pokemon freak will be subject to jail if caught holding Pokemon in his/her possession.

    Signed,
    J.L.K.
    -----End of document-----

Sounds rough, doesn't it? Yes, our society has certainly become a thing to behold. Ever since Professor Oak died 3 years ago, things have become a bit chaotic. My family lives in the Orange Islands, Mandarin Island to be exact. I'm very lucky to live in a safe haven for all those considered outcasts, because personally, I'd like to meet them. Anyway, you're not going to believe what happened to me 3 months ago...

Edit: Comments? Criticism? I'm all ears...

sounds pretty good so far but I think you will need to post the first chapter first so people can get a feel of it.
