So, we've all done it. We've all procrastinated so much that we've avoided to do our homework! Or not, as the case may be.

So, what are your best excuses for not doing your homework?

No I am not looking for tips here... >>

Here's mine " Mom my head hurts."

"I got stuck at the A&E (ER, I guess) department for four hours last night, and by the time I got home, it was bedtime! D:"

^ That was actually a genuine excuse, I even had a note from my mum, but the teacher didn't believe me. >_>; -was only eleven- XD

I was such a big procrastinator in high school that on the regular occasion that I didn't do my homework, I didn't even come up with an excuse. I just took the F like a man. XD

The hilarious thing is that the Texas educational system is so broken that even with me taking zeros for half my grades, I was able to pass all my exams with flying colors, and since I took all AP classes, the school gave me "bonuses" on my GPA, with which I still ended up in the top 10% of my graduating class. XD

i usually just make up an excuse on the spot - i procrastinate all the time. x]

"I didn't do my homework because I didn't care to."

And I still got a C for doing it in class, so a job well done.

*fist bumps* Texas education was fun while it lasted xP

I'm procrastinating this instant. I've told myself to stop procrastinating for like, twenty times already today, ahahaha.

I'm currently on this site instead of doing homework.
    Enough said.

Well, I have to say that my biggest skill in school is probably blagging my way out of homework I haven't done. At least once a week, I'll wake up with three essays to be handed in that day which I haven't even started and I'll either :

    a) get away with not doing them.
    b) explain that I have done them, but for a reason that is completely not my fault, I can't hand them in.
    c) do them in about ten minutes each and scrape a B.

*gleefully accepts fist bump*...now stop procrastinating. I'm not a good role model. XD

Ironically, college is a lot more forgiving than high school. I've had professors that would accept homework from the beginning of the semester the day before the final exam. I've also had professors that give out no homework at all...the only grades they take are exam grades. XD

My teachers don't care, even if your excuse is I got hit by a car, or my grandma died.

They say: You knew it was due, its your own fault. DX

I think one time I told my (femme)teacher, I couldn't get the homework done becuz I didnt pay attention in class, I was too fixed on ur beautiful face. She laughed and gave me a zero. :(

I usually just take the zero like a man. x]

However, every other time, I just create a genuine excuse right on the spot; pressure does that to ya.

I never did an excuse since I'm too goody two shoes and done my homework like a good gentelman. :P However, I have friends that tried to do excuses for why they haven't finished their essays and such like, "my computer broke down" or "there's a fire in my dorm and I'm unable to finish my paper" (actually, I mention THERE WAS a fire at my dorm, but some people decide to take that opportunity as an excuse XD; ).

I used "I left it at home" because my bag was really messy, so you couldn't tell if it was there or not, or I'd just do it in directed study. Though after mocks, pretty sure they won't give us homework for the last two weeks, so no more excuses for me. :D

Sometimes I pretend to look in my bag and pretend it's gone.

Once I told my teacher my printer broke(which did happen) and she said it wasn't good enough. Then one guy said his modem got lost in the mail, she took that and I don't even know how that was relevant to the task.

    "I didn't make it a priority."

Thank you 11th grade English teacher. I never used to have an excuse because well, never needed one and just took the F. No big deal.

I hate doing homeworks especially in geometry. Well in order to get out in trouble, I actually make it in class when the class is discussing already it ;) because my teacher always checks our homework when it's the ends of the class.

If not, I get the notebook of my classmate who's been already checked it by the teacher if he did it and show it to him. He only looks if we have preparation not the notebook actually.
