Since we already have a club for punk rock, this thread's for the rest of hard rock and metal. Stuff like:

    - Seether
    - Finger Eleven
    - Slipknot
    - Shadows Fall
    - Lamb Of God
    - Cannibal Corpse
    - Any other band that has no club. XD

    Owner

    P.K. Hammer

    Co-Owner

    Shana

    Band discussion commence. XD

*claims Co-Owner spot already* How did this happen? XD

Anyway, there is more to music than punk...for me, at least. So this is my kinda club. w00tness.

Word. Shana's now co-owner. Sorry people, I had to get someone to keep up with the club for next week when I'm gone XD

Anyway...let's start the band discussion! *waits for a discussion topic* XD

I must talk about Slipknot. What sucks about them is not that many people at my school like them. All of my friends are like, "Ewww...Slipknot. They think they're scary because they wear masks." and I'm like, "Maybe if you could LISTEN to one of their songs you would see that they're good."

But yeah, the first time I heard them, I didn't really care for them. I listened to Vermilion first, I think that was my problem. After I listened to Vermilion Pt. 2, I was obsessed. So then I moved onto the harder songs, and got obsessed with them as well.

    So anyone like Slipknot? XD

Speaking of Slipknot, I found a remix of Wait & Bleed earlier today by Terry Date. The thing RULES. XD

George, Headbanger For Life on here (posted like once XD), was the one who turned me on to Slipknot. I heard Duality on FUSE, and I couldn't get enough of it. XD Then I heard The Heretic's Anthem and Vermilion...I was hooked. XD

If you guys thought this club was gonna die, you were wrong. XD

    Anyway...

I just downloaded 2 Shadows Fall songs...The Light That Blinds and What Drives The Weak. I personally like The Light That Blinds better...it's simply amazing.

Hahaha. Me and my friend George have a funny story with The Light That Blinds. XD We showed it and it's pretty little acoustic-sounding guitar solo to a friend...at full blast... XD When it hit the huge metal solo, we started headbanging wildly like idiots, and our friend like jumped. XD

EDIT: The fact that the only two posters in this are me and Shana is really getting to me. XD

FINALLY! I mean...of course you can join, Amanda. ^^ XD

Lamb of God rules. I don't have a lot of their songs, but I like what I have...I've got:

    Laid To Rest
    11th Hour
    Ashes of the Wake

And as far as I can tell, they rule. I like Shadows Fall and Slipknot a lot more though.

If you get a chance, check out Shadows Fall's new album, 'The War Within'. It's amazing. I love it soooo much. <3

Slipknot's a band you either love to love, or love to hate. XD Not a lotta people around here like 'em, actually. All my punk/goth friends and a few others do though. Otherwise, they're hated. XD

I saw the Laid To Rest video thanks to my friend George and his data CD of videos XD I love that thing XD

Well, maybe this club will get more people that like Slipknot soon. XD
    Right now I'm listening to:

    Mot?rhead - The Game

I love that song, it's HHH's theme from WWE.

Lamb Of God are okay. I don't like the dudes voice, though. Songs by them that I have are "One Gun" and "Remorse If For The Dead". They're okay, but nothing special if that makes any sense. XD

Seether! I have their new album, it's awesome.

Aaand hey DarkPegasus! XD I don't think Metallica have their own club, but I'm not sure. I dunno Faith No More, but System Of A Down would count as hard rock, I'm pretty sure. They rock.

    Okay, cool.

My cousin just told me that hes going to a SOAD concert...lucky.
