Heh, I've decided to start this here on PC, even though the unofficial prequel(The Canadian League) is not yet posted in its entirety.

Was I blackmailed into doing this? No

Was I threatened by someone able to withhold cookies from me? No

Was I asked nicely? Yes. XD

So, here we go. Welcome all to:

    The Hyrulian League

Hehe....it still takes place in the real world, though, as is the case with the Canadian League, Japan just has a few anime differences to it. ^_^

Plus Orre is in China, not Arizona. And Hyrule is in Hokkaido along with Sinnoh. =P

    Chapter One - Psychic Paradise

    Sabrina opened her eyes.

As her eyes grew accustomed to the light again, she remembered where she was. She was sitting in a straw-woven chair, looking out at the warm Pacific waters. It was so peaceful out here that she must've just dozed off.

Getting up, she walked over to the edge of the patio, wrapping a towel around the lower half of her bathing suit. She closed her eyes again as the warm ocean breeze blew her hair back from her face.

Then, she opened them again after hearing a rushing of waves. Scanning the waves, she found it: a school of Wailmer, surfacing for air. The one in the lead let out a Water Spout, and Sabrina watched in awe as it leaped high up into the air.

    "Ah, look who's woken up."

Before Sabrina could react, she felt the familiar arms grasping her sides, as well as the very breath hitting her hair.

She turned around, placing her arms around Bill's neck. "I guess I haven't felt as safe before," she said, before embracing him in a kiss.

Yes, Bill and Sabrina had taken off from that town in Pennsylvania several months ago, in search of the perfect place to go. And, at long last they had finally found it. It was a small island off the coast of Mossdeep, in the Hoenn Region of Japan. Most of the island consisted of a semi-tropical forest, which some home to several rare varieties of Pokemon. The only sign of human activity was a medium sized cottage on the northern coast, where the two Psychic Trainers called home. It was a fairly secluded area for sure, with nothing around for kilometres away. This of course meant that it would be impossible to find them.

    Or so they thought.

Bill walked Sabrina down along the shore, until they arrived at what they were looking for.

Sabrina's jaw dropped. "When did you find the time to do this?" she asked.

"You were asleep for quite awhile," he answered. "You must have had a long night," he added with a laugh.

While she was asleep, Bill had whipped up a meal. Well, she supposed that wasn't right, as Bill was a self-proclaimed horrible cook. But he had prepared what his Gardevoir had most likely made.

It was all set up on a picnic table, lying on the beach, almost equidistant from both the ocean and the nearby forest. There was salad, and two plates of....cheeseburgers!

"My, how did you know?" Sabrina asked Bill, suddenly realizing that she was, in deed, craving junk food.

But that was foolish. Bill was a Psychic Trainer, just as she was.

The two sat on opposite sides of the table, just as the sunlight was fading. Sabrina looked out to the sunset, looking beautiful as ever in the evening twilight. There were no city lights around to diminish its splendor, making it as lush and vividly coloured as humanly possible.

"And still, it doesn't compare to you, Sabrina," Bill said, able to see her thoughts.

Sabrina looked back to Bill, blushing mildly. "You know, you can stop with the compliments if you want. I'm not going anywhere."

Bill smiled, saying "I know. I just had to say it, though. It is the truth."

Several minutes passed, and niether one had looked at their food. Sabrina was looking into Bill's eyes, and he into hers. Without taking a single bite, both were already satisfied with the meal.

That would be one of their last nights on the island together.

For the next morning, Bill awoke to find a Pelipper at the front door. And in the Pokemon's bill, a letter. It was from an old friend, Link.

How Link had found him, Bill did not know. But what he did know was that he would have to be leaving soon.

He heard movement in the kitchen, and he knew that Sabrina was up. He rushed over, to she her still in her favourite red bathrobe, buttering a bagel.

Seeing him, she dropped the bagel. She could see the look in his face as he held the letter up in his hands. It seemed as though she had already accepted it as she looked down the floor. "When do you leave?" she asked solemnly.

"Right now," Bill said, looking out to the open sea. "I've got no time to lose."

    Wow, that was quick! XD

    Chapter Two - Mossdeep Mayhem

Bill had told Sabrina to stay on the island while he left, because he didn't think he would be gone for long. He just grabbed a carton of apple juice, and an energy bar, and was on his way.

Sabrina walked to the pier with him, until he hopped into his motorboat. She gave him a kiss goodbye, and he was off.

Bill set course for the Mossdeep Harbour, as he watched his island paradise disappear into the distance. When it was completely out of sight, all he had around him was the open water, spreading every way into the horizon.

He was able to catch up to the school of Wailmer from earlier, and went around them to avoid scaring them any. Although calm creatures by nature, they could be powerhouses if they wanted to. Especially if they thought their young were in danger. And the sound of the motor yelling was quite capable of doing so.

Once they were out of the way, Bill checked his radar. He was just a few more minutes from seeing the familiar Space Centre on the horizon, signalling that he was headed in the right direction.

He knew it would be a few more minutes before he would be at the shores, so he took yet another look at the letter that he still held in his hand. It said that he would be at the local PokeMart in the afternoon.

    And it was nearly noon.

A few more moments had passed after that, and sure enough, it wasn't long before he could see the unique design of the island community's largest building.

He began to lower his speed as he got into the harbour, as there were various other vessels, in addition to Water Pokemon, going about the area on their daily activities.

Bill steered his boat into the closest dock, making sure that the spot wasn't already accounted for. The low humming in the contraption lowered in intensity until it had stopped completely.

"Okay, we're here," Bill said, whispering to the Poke Balls that he held on his belt.

He stepped onto the dock, immediately catching all the sounds and smells of the mainland. He could smell alcohol nearby, as he was not to far from the Mossdeep Tavern. But he had no intent on going there. He didn't drink, and even if he did, he was on a mission.

Stepping onto the moist ground, fresh and muddy after the previous night's rain, Bill began to walk closer into the city. He could see a few recognizable sights, like the Pokemon Centre, which was conveniently close to the Mossdeep Gym. Yes, Tate and Liza were Psychic Trainers just as he was, and many a trainer had succomb to their battle techniques.

There wasn't much in the ways of paved roads in this community, seeing as it was surrounded by water. Thus making boats the most common means of travel. So, in many parts of the city, where one would normally see a paved road, there would just be a thick layer of sand, or perhaps even a patch of grass.

Bill was standing on one of those patches as he neared the PokeMart. It seemed like an odd meeting place, but he didn't really have a choice in the matter.

He turned the doorknob, as sweat began to drip off of his palm. He nearly jumped back when the bell chimed, indicating that a customer had entered the building.

Bill looked around the convenience store, to see if his old friend was there.

He wasn't. The only other present was the clerk himself.

"May I help you, sir?" he asked. He was young, probably just out of high school. He wore a pair of glasses that made him look almost exactly like the PC guy from those Mac commercials.

"Oh, no thanks," Bill said. "I'll just take a look around for a bit."

The clerk nodded, and went back to his work. Bill headed towards the Potions Department.

He noticed that their Hyper Potions were two days past the expiration date, thus meaning that they were being sold for half price. It was a very good deal, as the little date on the package hardly meant anyth-

Bill stopped, beginning to sense another person in the room.

However, before he could turn around, he felt the sharp point of a sword resting on his shoulder, mere centimetres from his neck.

Without turning around, he said, "Link?"

"May The Force be with you," was the reply.

Bill grinned. So, he wasn't taking any chances. "And the Triforce with you," he said, laughing at the fact that he had remembered that line all those years.

The sword was withdrawn, and Bill turned around.

Evergreen coloured hooded top, and a pair of old blue jeans. And for heaven's sake, he was wearing sneakers too! Bill would not have recognized him had he not seen his ears. But he was certain that it was Link all right.

The two friends shook hands, and asked how the other were doing. But that was not the point of the meeting, so Bill quit the small talk.

    "What's wrong?" he asked.

"They're back," Link replied. He didn't even have to say who. Bill knew exactly who he meant.

    Team Rocket. They had returned.

If I take this long in any of my stories, any of you have the right to smack me. XD

What's more is that I started this chapter in April. >_>

Chapter Three - A Woman Left to Her Thoughts

"So, how is Sabrina doing?" Link asked.

"She is doing fine," Bill responded, thinking back to their meal the previous night. He hoped it wouldn't be that long before they would have another one like that.

Leaving the Pokemon Mart, the two friends were now alone, in a remote area of the city. It was by the shore, near the water route that Pokemon trainers would take on their way to Ever Grande City.

Link had already told Bill about what he had been hearing. The Triforce, a powerful object with unimaginable power, had been stripped apart and hidden all over the planet. Now, it was thought that nobody-human or Pokemon-would be able to put it back together again. But Link had obtained some intel from Hyrule that one of the pieces had been taken.

"By who?" Bill had asked, already expecting the answer.

"It was a Goron salesman," Link responded. "Of course, he did not know what he had, and sold it almost immediately. To a man named Giovanni."

"Giovanni...." Bill repeated the name. The two had never met, but boy, did the man have a reputation. If he had even a portion of the Triforce, they would have to stop at nothing to get it back.

"You sure of this?" Bill asked Link. "How could one of those Gorons have just stumbled upon...."

"I don't know," Link said. "I too thought that they had been better hidden than that. But it's been years, Bill. Who knows what has happened since then."

"All right, then," Bill said. "Any ideas where Giovanni could be at the moment?"

Link shook his head. "That man is nearly impossible to find. I was hoping you could do that, Bill."

Bill looked out to the sea, almost as if expecting that the answer would arrive on the wind. But no, of course it didn't. He just watched as a flock on Wingull swept by, gliding on the wind. The water swept up against the shore, creating a whoosing sound as it went.

Somewhere out on that horizon was Giovanni, leader of Team Rocket. And, assuming Link was right, he had in his hands something that no man was ever supposed to have.

"We'll have to set out for the city first thing tomorrow morning," he finally said, looking to Link.

    ----------------------------------------------

It had been an hour since Bill had gone. Sabrina was alone on the island with the Pokemon.

She stepped into the cottage, looking around. It was so clean, it was strange thinking that she had been there for over a month. But then again, her Mr. Mime was an excellent housekeeper.

She didn't feel like having anything to eat at the moment, so she headed straight for the shower. She placed her robe on the bar, and stepped in. As soon as she felt the warm water running down her face, she felt a little more at ease.

She enjoyed staying on the island with Bill, there was no problem with that. She wasn't too fond of humankind in the first place, so it seemed like a great place to hide out at. But still, she didn't want to stay there forever.

She usually only thought about these things while she was alone. And, depending on how long Bill would be away, it could be awhile. A woman left to her thoughts could be a dangerous thing, as she knew all too well.

A few moments later, Sabrina was out of the shower, and was changed into a comfortable halter necked dress. It went to just above her knees, and was yellowish colour, almost golden. She had gotten it in Mossdeep City a few weeks ago.

She looked into the mirror, making a note of the expressionless look on her face. She had always had a hard time showing emotion, partly because she hadn't done so since she was a little girl. She was thought of as a cold person as a result for most of her life.

But Bill was different. Perhaps it was because he was a Psychic like her, maybe not. But he knew how to make her smile, and he has never failed at doing so.

Stepping outside, Sabrina looked to the sky. The wind was blowing at a quicker pace than usual, and it seemed a little too dark for that time of day. She could sense it in her bones that it was going to rain.

Walking down to the shoreline, Sabrina smiled inwardly from the feel of the cool sand going between her toes. She looked over to the dock that Bill had left from earlier in the morning. Was there someone there?

She looked again, more closely this time. Yes, there was someone there! She rushed over to see who it was, only to find out that it wasn't a person at all. It was just a child's doll.

But wait...no, there was something about this doll. Something familiar to Sabrina....

It wore an elegant white dress, and a large hat with a bright red ribbon around it. It had pitch black hair almost as long as it's body, just like Sabrina had had when she was a little girl.

    "Oh, my...." Sabrina gasped.

There was no mistaking it. She had no idea how it had gotten to her, but there was no question.

    It was the doll.
