Have fun everyone! I'll start us off with a topic: What got you interested in the Inheritance series?

Joinage plz. What got me interested was that I'd always liked dragons, and after about the first thirty odd pages I was hooked. Can't wait until the next one comes out. Any ~speculations~ on the title? :B

Welcome to the club, Delta Vulpix and Jesh!

And the title for the fourth book hasn't been confirmed yet, but:

    Spoiler:

That website is actually a pretty good one. There's an entire forum for speculations, but I'd rather not look through all of them. I'm really obsessive over spoilers, and I'm afraid that someone will *accidentally* guess the right thing.

Welcome to the club, SolarAbusoru! And I used to visit that site too, but it's not updated that often. In the other site they actually do monthly interviews with the author, if that interests you.

Oh, and I made these buttons a while ago for those of you who want to advertise the club:

Welcome to the club, Denali! I'm really anticipating the fourth book too :P But I'm taking my mind off the book for now by reading Sherlock Holmes. (I've reread the series twice already, and I need to read something else for a change) As soon as the official release date is announced, I'll put it up here.

Truthfully, I just saw it at the Border's bookstore and bought it.

I don't believe this! (well, actually, I knew it'd happen...) I was the owner of the same club topic a while back, but that was very successful, it got seven pages (at least) and was almost always active. Please try and let that happen again, I'd be disappointed if the same club didn't do as well.

In a lighter note, I'll join again, but would like to try and be the co-owner if possible, someone to help run it.

Eragon and Eldest were a Christmas present, and I was hooked. I got Brisingr when it came out, the day it came out, and was the first one to get it in my area. I love the series and cannot wait for the fourth one to be released. Hats off to Chris!

Couldn't agree with you more, Flash! Can't wait for the fourth one to come out!
What book out of the three so far is your favorite and why?

In order of favorites, it goes: Eldest, Eragon, Brisingr. Brisingr had half a book dedicated to the coronation of the dwarf's which, don't get me wrong, was rather boring. The book was still good, but it lasted a bit too long in the dwarf's coronation.

Do you think in the fourth book Arya will fall for Eragon?
I'm not sure. She might, but probably not. Chris has made it so certain that she is wrong for Eragon.

Flash: That's really interesting that you've run this club before. If you have experience then sure, you can be co-owner. Welcome to the club!

What book out of the three so far is your favorite and why?
My favorite has to be Eldest, because it's a time of change and transition for Eragon. Christopher does really well in developing Eragon's character further and making him more mature than he was in the first book.

Do you think in the fourth book Arya will fall for Eragon?
Yes, but it will be very complicated. (Don't read spoiler unless you've entirely finished all three books.)

@Haruka of Hoenn - Couldn't agree with you more; Eragon and Arya will fall in love and yada yada, but it's the matter of when.
@Haruka of Hoenn & Flash - Yes, I totally agree with you guys; Eldest is my ultime favorite, then Eragon, and then Brisingr. I chose Eldest first because it has many viewpoints (like Eragon, Nasuada, and Roran - I think it's Roran :)) And it also delves a little into Roran and his adventures.

    Spoiler:

I made the same connection a while back, but I didn't develop it as much as you have Haruka. I sort of worked it out, then something, can't remember what, popped up and the answer ran away from me. You've done it though, and I'm impressed.

Here's a new topic for you guys to answer. (You can go back to an old topic any time if you want to discuss it further)

Do you think Eragon will spare Galbatorix, if at some point he has a chance to kill him and the king is literally at his mercy?
I'm not sure of the answer myself :P I'll wait a bit before answering so I can really think about this one.

Do you think Eragon will spare Galbatorix, if at some point he has a chance to kill him and the king is literally at his mercy?
Same Haruka, but my initial thoughts are that Eragon would spare him and let someone else deal with him.

Do you think Eragon will spare Galbatorix, if at some point he has a chance to kill him and the king is literally at his mercy?
    Spoiler:

It's unlikely though, but I still don't think it would be easy for Eragon to just decide to kill him and get it over with. Then again:

    Spoiler:

Do you think Eragon will spare Galbatorix, if at some point he has a chance to kill him and the king is literally at his mercy?
All very good points; but I think Eragon will kill Galbatorix because Eragon has matured and realized that the only way to really get rid of the threat, Galbatorix, will be to kill him.
    Spoiler:

    And don't forget:
(do not read unless you have read all three books)
