    Ok as you all know nidoran mate with nidoran otherwise there would be no nidorans soo when i tried to mate a Nidoking with a Nidoqueen i was surprised they could'nt mate.
    This thing wwas never solved in the advance generation.
    So do you think a nidoranF/nidorina/nidoqueen can make nidoranM and F eggs in d/p?
     
    No, probably not...unless some special item is made for that reason...

    ...Oh great, we'll probably get a Nidoran pre-evo to branch off into the two...

    Its the other way around. Nidorina and Nidoqueen can't.
     
    I always found it odd how Nidorina/Queen wouldn't breed. I'd blame it on a bug in G/S/C which they covered up by preventing them from breeding. Unforutnately, by the Law of Conservation of Game Mechanics, we're stuck with it from now on, unless they spontaneously decide to violate that particular law. I'd be inclined to forgive them for something small like that, considering how nonsensical it is, and how changing it doesn't really open up any new possibilities that didn't exist before. All it would take would be some sort of lame explanation, like, "Some POKéMON are shy and won't breed in most daycares. We try to make POKéMON feel as comfortable as possible at the SHINO daycare!"

    Dude how can a nidoran that can get egg moves be nonsensical?
    It can give the nidos a diverser movepool than they already have wich might make them OU.

    cant u just use a ditto? a ditto answers the question, except for the egg moves thing, never mind then...
