    Welcome one, welcome all! This club is for those of us who just love Kyogre! If you like Kyogre too, don't be hesitant to join!

    2. Talk about Kyogre and Kyogre-related things only, please (such as Pokemon Sapphire). ^^;

    I LOVE Kyogre! *pets Kyogre coin that came with Sapphire game* I don't like Groudon that much. Ironicly, my brother hates Kyogre and loves Groudon :laugh: well, I think that's ironic. I'm still a little confused about what ironic is... (why did my english teacher have to confuse me??)
     
    Yeah I got Sapphire Version too.. That's weird I didn't get a coin with my Sapphire only a Lady Astrid E-Card.. But who cares...
     
    I almost didn't get my coin, but we asked the guy so he gave us one (my bro got Groudon, and me Kyogre... his is in better condition since I acutally use mine for flipping and such)

    Anyway, let me ask you all a question. Why would you catch Kyogre, despite the fact it's a strong legendary?

    Because it can take out most Pokemon, I had Sapphire Version and It took out the Elite Four's Pokemon Down with one surf. The ability it has Drizzle, Allow it to start raining and if you teach Thunder to it Thunder will have a 100% chance of hitting it opponent. That's why I would catch Kyogre.
     
    Cool. It's pretty much the same thing for me, I wiped almost the entire E4 with Kyo. Then Steven KOed it (finally), so I revived it (LOL). Then he did again (._.), and I re-revived it, and beat the snot out of him.

    Alright then, what kind of moveset would you stick on Kyo?

    I'd have to say:
    Ancientpower
    Ice Beam
    Surf (more accurate than Hydro Pump)
    Calm Mind

    Do you agree? The power of Hydro Pump, without Calm Mind, is 270, due to rain+STAB. Surf's power is 207, isn't that ironic? Anyway, 4 Calm Minds brings Surf very close to 999, as opposed to Hydro Pump, which would exceed 999. But anyway, I like it better. ^^

    Oh, and with that moveset, Kyo has no weaknesses. :P
     
    Can I say a few things?

    1. If somebody else changes the weather, Thunder becomes risky. (You could just switch to another, then switch back to Kyogre, but then they could do the same.)
    2. Water Spout is also a risk, because if somebody chomps your health down, it's useless.
    3. With that moveset, he's exposed to electric types.

    Sorry if it seemed harsh, it's a decent moveset nonetheless. ^^;

    Anyway, why hasn't anybody else responded? X_x;; We're talking about why you would catch Kyo, and what moveset you would sitck on him. :P
     
    well i dunno wat move set I'd put on him/her or why I would catch him/her so I'll post as soon as I think it up :D
