Hello, and welcome to PokéCommunity's one-and-only May fan club! You can check out what our group has to offer in the content below, and if you wish to sign up, simply ask in the thread or pop me a VM – simple as that!~

To further explain what this group is about, you should know that this Pokémon group revolves around May—all forms of her – This includes the more popular anime May (ハルカ Haruka); May (サファイア Sapphire) from Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald; and the variant of May named Sapphire (オダマキ・サファイア Odamaki Sapphire) from the Pokémon Adventures manga. This group aims to become a top collective in the Pokémon Groups forum, eventually bursting with content, including videos, fanart, music, and other user-submitted works gathering in one common place — A haven, if you will, for May lovers, artists, and fans in general alike.

I love May as a character as she's such a bubbly and fun person! My favourite appearance was when she came into Sinnoh and competed in a tournament with Dawn - that was brilliant! And seeing how well she trained her Glaceon was amazing <3

Why do you like May as a character?
I think she's the female companion that kind of stuck out the most, as in the anime she was calm and laid-back when it came to Ash, she loved food more than what would seem like anything, and her eagerness to learn about Pokémon in my opinion was the driving force behind why she stayed for all of AG. The balances she brought (by herself and by bringing along Max) to the group were most excellent in the Advanced Generation saga and I think stood out the most in late Advanced Challenge and early Advanced Battle, and somewhat near the end of Battle Frontier as well. I'd also like to note that she was the very first Pokémon coordinator on the main cast (correct me if I'm wrong), and sort of brought contests fully to the world's stage in the minds of I and many others. All in all, she's possibly the most likable and most kawaii coordinator I've seen on the anime, Zoey being a close second IMO ^^;

I reckon she's gone over to Johto to try out the Pokéathlon! It seems like something she'd certainly want to do as a nice break from the contest matches. And her Pokemon certainly wouldn't fair too badly either! Her Eevee and Skitty especially can show true athleticism, as well as her Munchlax which can run at the speed of light if it smells food! Hopefully she'll come back in Unova as the Johto Pokéathlon champion - who knows? :D

What do you think May has been doing since competing with Dawn in Sinnoh?
I think she would most definitely be competing in the Pokémon Triathlon, and could probably succeed. She would probably be the first trainer character other than Ash to discover new regions herself if only she was on-screen ;_;, as after getting five Sinnoh ribbons and competing in their Grand Festival (if they call it that, we're talking Super Contests), she would've run out of regions to take on ^^';.
