    Who Leads Who?
    By PichuSecretBase

PC Staff grows when Moderators, Super Moderators, and Administrators are created and when some return.

Welcome to the first article on the Staff and Members. This time we will be focusing on the new and returning staff! Check out our staff on the forum leader page.

President, LittleFascistPanties16 (Brittany), has become PC's newest mod. Brittany moderates the Question and Feedback section of PC. First President, now Mod, what next? Congratulations Brittany!

Lightning has returned to her position as Super-Moderator. After taking a break she has finally returned. First though as a moderator. She moderated the Webmaster's Discussion. Kimi-Kaizer was not pleased.

In the topic "Why is Lightning a Mod?" Kimi-Kaizer posted this. "Just what the title says -_-;;;;; Why is Lightening a mod and not Greg? you think that is fair?" For all of you who may not know JKaizer is Greg. Lightning is now Super-Moderator and Jedi_Amara is now left alone yet again modding the Webmasters.

Kairi has returned with a new look. Her staff title is now blue! Kairi left after her pair left, a1337a (Sarah). Sarah had left because people accused Abby (Kairi) of being biased, so Sarah tried to relieve her of stress. However Kairi was offered her Admin Position back. Now Kairi isn't an Abigail anymore (the position which was used for admins without sites), they just cut that sections and made her admin, though she still hasn't gotten a site.

Finally Eliana is a new mod. Eli was modded by Arcanine and moderates the Other Chat. Congratulations Eli! Have fun!

Surprisingly a lot has happened in the mod -hood this week. This is PSB signing off!

Not One, Not Two, But Four Forums!
    By Harry Kim

Thousands of artists have the chance to compete this December in the PokeHoliday FanArt Festival. Created by a series of five moderators, each representing a different forum, the festival demonstrates the power of cooperation and teamwork. The creators, known as officials, hope to inspire harmony within the members in each forum.

The participating forums include Bulbagarden, Serebii, ThePokeMasters, and, of course, PC. Originally, the officials planned to include a fifth forum, PE2K, but unfortunately that forum pulled out when its administrator decided to keep the forum out of any inter-forum competitions. Although saddened by this turn of events, the officials pushed forward with their plans with the remaining four forums.

Eventually, the officials came up with the festival idea and at the start of December, created a series of threads where the artists could read the rules of the competition as well as submit their fine artwork. The themes for this contest include harmony, family, and winter celebration.

Moonlight represents PC as the official with Dakota claiming the judge position. Dakota volunteered for the position and is excited by the grandest art competition ever seen by PC, or any of the other three forums for that matter.

Needless to say, PC artists should check out the thread and represent the forum. With the deadline of December 31st coming up, artists have only two more weeks to finish their masterpieces.

Gone And Woof! Back in Power
    By Cool Cr@cker

Kairi, PC's Golden Girl and the hidden force behind PC, shocked the community in the morning on Nov 24, 2004 when she said she couldn?t be online much anymore and de-admined herself. The whole community groaned and many even predicted that PC wouldn?t run for 2 months without Kairi. Many quick promotions were made to make up for Kairi's disappearance.

Though Kairi assured all her friends that she wouldn?t be completely gone and that she would still manage to come at times. Without Kairi PC members knew PC wouldn?t be the same again. But to the amazement of the whole community, on November 30th, members logging on to PC saw that there was a new Admin, Kairi. Yes, on November 29th, PPNSteve offered to Kairi the position that he believed she really deserved and Kairi accepted. When contacted she said, "A couple of days ago Steve asked me and I accepted it (the promotion) after some time. I am really happy and probably I'll be online a lot more now." The whole community is happy and as long as Kairi is here.

    Report Post System Reports Back
    By Cool Cr@cker

On November 29th PPN Steve, PC's Admin, repaired the Report Post System. Originally, the system reported posts by sending PM's to Mods. Suddenly in the middle of the process, Admins changed it to sending emails to mods because the moderators were experiencing some problems with the PM system.

Many members and some Mods united their voices to return to the origional system to send out PM's again. Apparently emails were dead slow. When Mods had reacted a emailed situation, that problem would already be over. However, thanks to Steve, PC's Report Post System has returned to its first format.

So, if you want to report a post because the member has flamed or spammed. Don?t hesitate---USE THAT BUTTON~NOW.

    Eliana's Moderation Controversial
    By Cool Cr@cker

At the end of November, Eliana, one of PC's more popular members became a moderator. This decision arises from mixed comments from members. Many members who knew Eliana well praised the move and they knew Eliana would use here power well. But some of her ?friends? became jealous and started abusing her through PM's, emails, and chats.

Those hurtful messages disheartened Eliana and a source that rather not be named claims that, "She even started crying during a MSN Chat." As a result, many angry members and Eliana fans bashed out the Anti-Eliana movement and attacked its supporters. However, eventually the cries on both sides died down, leaving Eliana to complete her work as a moderator without opposition.

    FanFiction Reviews
    By Max Hunter

    Path of the Trainer (PG-13)

A new fanfic, written by Zechs, has a good story that catches your attention quickly. The main story of this fanfic circles around one kid that is "trapped" in his island with his family and his friends. Zechs made really good descriptions with the environment and the characters. Even he can repeat names over and over again, the fanfic is really cool. Zechs will write his second chapter soon, and you know what? Zechs has just joined PC. Anyway, read the fanfic and enjoy!

    Last Defense (one-shot , PG-13)

I l-o-v-e this fanfic. The author, Dragonfree, writes like a pro in this one-shot fanfic. The main story of this fanfic, is how an Eevee thinks and acts until he evolves into an Espeon. It describes the thoughts and the actions of the main character incredibly well! BRAVO! Dragonfree! Bravo! *claps*

    Love's Lost

An incredible fanfic made by Oni Flygon. Y-O-U MUST read this Fanfic, it is incredible, even though it is another one-shot. The love and the feelings... I admit it, Oni Flygon, I could name you the best writer I have ever read.

    Pok?mon Dreams: Kanto Begginings

PikaPal wrote this in an "RP" way. But the story is fine. If I could grade this Fanfic, I would give it a 7/10. The main story is about a girl of 13 years old becoming a trainer and her hopes to ride a Rapidash. Descriptions are fine. Well, there's not too much to say about this fanfic. PikaPal hasn't continued it.

    Pok?mon School

One my never rated Fanfics. I can't say too much about this fanfic. It was not continued, and it has just 1 chapter. The main story is about a boy that wants to escape from his school, "ruled" by its evil teacher. Anyway, this fanfic has regular descriptions. Almost all of it is pure dialogue. The story... well... it is not great... ..... but you can read it, if you would like to know how a normal kid in the pok?mon world wants to become a beginning trainer. But, sorry if I am rude with the author, but it is not a good fanfic... just pure dialogue is not a good idea.

    Final Flames

In general, this is a good fanfic. But it is one of those that the only thing you saw in it is D-I-A-L-O-G-U-E .... Next to the dialogue, there are the actions of the characters. The author doesn?t give too many descriptions. The story kind of catches you, but you aren?t hooked on it. Anyway..... This is a good fanfic, not one of the best fanfics that exists... but it is good.

Beautiful. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. *clap clap clap clap*

I guess I'll write something over the winter break, but I don't know enough of this place.

    Bravo, nice job!

Would there be a chance I could write some things for the PC Chronicle?

Yes, I'd like to write also. I intend to be a journalist when I grow older anyway. ^_^

hmm..i don't really know what to make of it since there are differing views on the things that have been written..

A few things in there I would know some members would find upsetting...I'm still mixed.

All in all it's pretty good, but yeah, that one artical is more or less playing favorites and the whole thing was blown outta proportion.

What we should have is two writers on one issue, one affirming the situation and one negating it.

This is really nice...great job. :)

this was great keep it up can't wait for the next one

Thankyou for your comments. We're happy that we can bring to you a newspaper that is both informative and...er.... opinionated. This is a work in process, of course, but we wanted to get this first issue out as soon as possible.

Yes, we can certainly use several more members to our growing staff. We hope to one day become a main part of PC.

Again, thankyou to our readers. Without you, we wouldn't have a reason to write.

Hello can you give which all issues you feel should be reviewed and thanks everyone for your comments, THE PCC is still growing!
