    I've always liked the idea of the Pokedex, ever since the first games, and I checked around and no-one had done this idea before, so I get to be the first. Woot.

    Anyway, welcome one and all to the Pokedex Fan Club. Here we can discuss the Pokedex in all it's glory, comparing different versions and sharing new information you might not know about all your favourite Pokemon. I'll even add a Pokedex Entry of the Day each day I can get online. I might even go back into the earlier Pokedexes because there is info there that isn't detailed in the latest Pokedex.

    Speaking of which:
    Entry of the Day: Flygon (Sapphire)
    Flygon whips up a sandstorm by flapping its wings. The wings create a series of notes that sound like singing. Because the "singing" is the only thing that can be heard in a sandstorm, this Pokémon is said to be the desert spirit.

    Not a double post per se, just an update of the Pokedex Entry of the Day:

    Murkrow (Emerald)
    Murkrow were feared as the alleged bearers of ill fortune. It shows strong interest in anything that sparkles. It will even try to steal rings from women.

    Hey welcome to the pair of you (adds to member list).

    I was gonna do something different today, but since I found this as a shiny last night, I'll make this the Entry of the Day.

    Pokedex Entry of the Day: Electrike (Ruby)
    Electrike stores electricity in its long body hair. This Pokemon stimulates its leg muscles with electric charges. These jolts of power give its legs explosive acceleration performance.

    Interesting method of propulsion, powered by your own electricity.

    Anyway, now we have members, how many of you have completed any of your Pokedexes?

    Pokedex Entry of the Day: Rhydon (Leaf Green)
    Protected by an armor-like hide, it is capable of living in molten lava of 3,600 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Wow, that's hot huh? I wonder how many Rhydon make their homes inside volcanoes?

    Pokedex Entry of the Day: Elekid (Sapphire)
    Elekid stores electricity in its body. If it touches metal and accidentally discharges all its built-up electricity, this Pokemon begins swinging its arms in circles to recharge itself.
